"We are the vision in your dreams." said a man as mist reveals a temple, hidden deep in the forest. "We do not exist, yet we've been here since the beginning. We are Pai Zhuq, the Order of the Cw."

  Six students were sitting in front of the court yard doors. "We train only the best, both physically and mentally, swearing after secrecy." said the man. "All masters of their skills never knowing their true purpose….until now."

  Master Mao and several new students walked into the courtyard as a blonde-haired girl looked to her friend. "Theo." she said, calling out his name. "What is going on?"

  "Lily, no talking." Theo gently scolded her.

  "Lighten up, we've been sitting here since st night." said Lily.

  "Just try and enjoy the silence." said Theo.

  "I hate silence." Lily tells him. An older student hits the gong as Master Mao stands in front of the six students, causing them to stand up.

  "So stiff. Hey Theo? Did my butt come up with me?" Lily asked him as they bowed in front of Master Mao. "I can't tell, I'm numb."

  "You are the six finalists. I'm looking for three." said Master Mao. He cps once and the sparring begins. Theo, Lily and their cssmate Jarrod, bow to their sparring partners and stood their stances.

  "Begin!" shouted Master Mao and the sparring begins. As they sparred, Lily growled as she quickly goes after her sparring partner. Yellow chi surrounds Lily and out of her body, a cheetah pops out, sshing the student in front of her.

  Theo had elbowed his sparring partner when Blue Chi surrounded his body and released a jaguar.

  Jarrod blocks his sparring partner's moves and shoved him forward before kicking him in the chest, knocking him down. His sparring partner stops him from continuing further, letting him know that he gives in just before bck and gold chi surrounded him and a Lion comes out.

  "Jarrod, Lily, Theo." said Master Mao, getting their attention. "Join us in the Great Hall this evening.

  All three bowed as Lily and Theo high fived each other. "Where's my towel?" Jarrod asked. "Cub, go get me a towel. Move it!"

  Behind him was a lower student, Casey, who watched the scene unfold as Jarrod was rude to his fellow student. "That's a direct order from a senior student." Jarrod said to the younger kid and flips over the towel bowl.

  "Ah, here's a towel." said Casey behind him, running up to Jarrod with a towel in his hand. Jarrod gres at him as he stalks Casey.

  "Look, I don't want any problems." he said, walking back away from him.

  "Too bad." said Jarrod and pushes him to the ground. Master Mao, Lily and Theo looked over at the scene as Casey as they see him look back at Jarrod.

  "Oh, is little cub going to do something?" Jarrod taunted Casey as he pushes him to the ground. Suddenly, Casey yells as a tiger's face appeared and roars with him. Jarrod was then thrown back to the ground by Casey's tiger roar.

  "What did I just do?" Casey asked himself as he looked down at his hands and Jarrod gets up. "I'm sorry. I don't know what happened." Master Mao cpped his hands and Jarrod bows, not knowing what would happen next.

  "Why are we here?" Theo asked as he, Lily and Casey sat outside of a closed room. "Where's Jarrod? Why is that recruit here?"

  Lily looked over at Casey as he nervously smiled at them. "Why do you always have to know what's going on?" questioned Lily. "You have control issues."

  Master Mao exited the room, appearing in the hallway as the three of them stood up and bowed. "Follow me." said Master Mao, leading them away.

  "This is so cool." said Lily as they were led down some stone stairs and into a darken stone room. "Where are we?"

  "It's called the Forbidden room." replied Master Mao, bowing before the stone carving with candles in front of it.

  "Forbidden?" asked Casey, looking around the cold room. "That doesn't sound good."

  "Jarrod has been dismissed." Master Mao expined, seeing the look on Lily's and Theo's faces. "In your hearts, you know why. Casey…you have the heart to stand up for others. You also have the potential to be a tiger master. I have decided to choose you in Jarrod's pce." Casey, Lily and Theo were shocked at this.

  "Listen closely, over ten thousand years ago, there was a great evil, named Dai Shi." said Master Mao and turns to the stone carving on the wall behind him. "He believed that animals should rule the pnet and humans were to be erased. Brave warriors channeled their animal spirits, and after a great battle, they were able to capture the Dai Shi."

  He then carries a box that carried Dai Shi. "Inside this box," said Master Mao, revealing his order tattoo as Casey, Lily and Theo took a step back. "the Pai Zhuq, the order of the cw was formed to train students in kung fu and serve as protectors if the Dai Shi were ever to escape. You three and another have been selected to take on that task."

  "Yeah, well the evil hasn't escaped so all's good." said Casey, still not understanding why he was down there. "And look, I've just been here a week, and there must be someone better."

  Behind him, Jarrod walks down the stairs, interrupting them. "I've spent 10 years in training!" Jarrod yelled at Master Mao. "You just can't kick me out for no reason!"

  "Agreed…" said Master Mao. "But I have a reason." He then starts to pce Dai Shi back on the table when Jarrod screams angrily and attacks Master Mao from behind. Master Mao defends himself while holding Dai Shi with one hand. When he backflips and nded on his feet, Master Mao pushes Jarrod back with two fingers.

  Breathing heavily, Jarrod gres at Master Mao. "Now go." Master Mao tells him, hoping that he wouldn't do anything stupid.

  "Yes." said Jarrod and starts to walk away. Before he left the room, Jarrod summons his Lion spirit and attacks Master Mao.

  "No!" screamed Lily as Master Mao drops the chest containing Dai Shi. The lid opens, revealing nothing inside only to be proven wrong. Orange mist comes roaring out of the chest and into the room, throwing everyone but Master Mao to the ground.

  "At st!" bellowed Dai Shi. Wind blew around the room, blowing out the candles. "Mao, my old friend, I have thought about no one else for centuries, but before I destroy you, you will be a witness to my destruction of those dear to you."

  Fearing for his life, Jarrod runs back up the stairs and out of temple. "Who's he talking about?" Theo asked.

  "That'd be us!" said Lily. The three students stood in front of the door, blocking Dai Shi's path as he roars at them.

  "No!" shouted Master Mao as he rushes towards them.

  "Yes, Mao!" said Dai Shi, as he lifts him up from the ground, throws him at the stone table and ughs evilly. Master Mao groans in pain from being thrown so hard. "Mao is defeated. You're not worth my time."

  Dai Shi roars one st time as he zooms past Lily, Theo and Casey. Master Mao groans as the three turn their attention to him. "Master!" shouted Casey as they ran towards him.

  "My time in the form has ended." Master Mao said, looking up at them. "Shed no tears. There are important things to do. The evil that is Dai Shi will return to where he was captured. You must destroy him."

  Lily nodded as Master Mao gasps and takes something out of his pocket, handing it to Theo. "Go to this address at Ocean Bluff." instructed Master Mao. "There, you'll meet your new master and the one who will join you."

  "We don't want a new master!" said Lily.

  "Remember the first rule I told you…." Master Mao reminded her. "Don't be attached to the master….but to the lesson." Lily nodded as she remembered. "Now go."

  "Wait. I'm not your guy." said Casey. "I can't destroy evil! I havent even mastered handing out towels!"

  "Listen to me! All of you!" Master Mao said, raising his voice. "You three and the other are the world's only chance." Once Master Mao had said that, he disappeared into energy and into the spirit world.

  "Master Mao!"

  Casey looks at Lily and Theo, not knowing what to do before looking back at the chest that was on the wall. In the shadow, a girl of 15 years old wearing street clothes, quietly runs up the stairs and out of the temple. She headed to Ocean Bluff to let her brother know what happened in advance.

  In the wood of the Pai Zhuq temple, Jarrod had his things. "I got to get out of here." he said to himself as he looks over his shoulder.

  "Jarrod." Dai Shi whispered through the forest.

  "Who's there?" asked Jarrod, looking behind him before he kept going.

  "Jarrod." Dai Shi whispered again. Jarrod turns around until Dai Shi rushes into him and into his body, taking over him.

  "A Pizza Parlor?" questioned Theo as he, Casey and Lily arrived in Ocean Bluff. "This can't be the pce." The trio walked in as up-tempo music was heard. Behind the counter, the same 15-year-old girl who hidden herself in the temple looked up and watched them.

  "That must be him." Theo said to Lily as they walked over to an older gentlemen sitting at a table by himself. They then bow to the man. Behind them, the girl prints out the gentlemen's receipt as she shakes her head with a smile on her face. "We're here." said Theo. "I'm Theo, this is Lily, and this is….this is someone who is in way over his head."

  "We're from the Pai Zhuq School." said Lily. "We're ready to take on evil and defeat it. You have our total obedience. We're eager to learn everything you have to teach us, master."

  "Yes, treat us to your words of wisdom as well as one of the other students join us." said Theo.

  "That's right." said Lily.

  "Check!" said the man and the young girl at the cash register walks towards them.

  "Okay, wrong guy." said Theo.

  "Clearly, Mr. Bossy Boots." said the young girl, giving them the look as she walks past them. "Here you go, Mr. Huang. Hope that you'd enjoyed your pizza."

  "Thank you, Dani." he said.

  "You're welcome." she said.

  Another girl at the parlor was eating her pizza at the counter with her books. "Probably not her, either." said Lily as they ughed. Suddenly, they hear an explosion and Dani's brother comes walking out of the kitchen with smoke.

  "Whoa." he said with pizza dough on his face.

  "Really, dude?" asked Dani, rushing over to her brother and steadies him. "You had to pick today?"

  "Intense." her brother said to her and the others. "So much for my Mt. Kilimanjaro Pizza experiment."

  "It would've tasted good." said Dani.

  "Exactly, Dani." said her brother, then looks at Lily, Theo and Casey. "Whoa. New Customers."

  "We should feed them." said Dani.

  "Yeah." her brother replied, grabbing them menus. "Welcome to Jungle Karma Pizza. The name's R.J and you've already met my sister."

  "The name's Danielle, Dani for short." said Dani.

  "No, no, we're not customers." said Theo, trying to stop the siblings.

  "We're looking for….our master and one of his students." Lily said to R.J and Dani.

  "Aren't we all?" asked R.J., then turns to his sister. "I got it out here. You go on and do your exercises."

  "All right, R.J." said Dani, lightly hitting his arm and then looks at the three Pai Zhuq students. "I hope that you three find your Pai Zhuq Master and friend soon. I have a good feeling that the both of them are really nearby."

  Dani looks up at her brother and smirks before heading into the back for her training. R.J. smiles at his sister's hint, turning back to his unsuspecting students. "I say we go." said Theo, knowing better than to stay at Jungle Karma. R.J.'s face fell as Theo heads out the door.

  "I'm hungry." Casey said to Lily.

  "Me too." Lily said in agreement as R.J. guides them to a table.

  "Oh, great." said Theo, seeing them sit down.

  At Dai Shi's hideout, Dai Shi sits on his throne. "Too long, you have rested, waiting for this day." said Dai Shi. "Come forth with your terror. Come forth with your hate. Come forth with your power. Arise, my Rinshi. Arise, my army of fear."

  Up from the ground, Rinshi appeared, waiting and able for their orders from Dai Shi. "You." said Dai Shi, pointing to a random Rinshi, beckoning it forward. Dai Shi pces a Mantis spirit onto the Rinshi.

  "The Mantis…power 100 times its body weight." said Dai Shi. "You shall lead my army to clear out this city."

  "Yes!" said Mantis.

  "But no humans stop us from preparing for the arrival." said Dai Shi and Mantis bows at him. "Wait! Where's Camille?"

  Walking out of the wall, Camille, appears by Dai Shi's side and sighs lightly. She then looks up at Dai Shi. "Dai Shi!" said Camille, taking in the glory. "What a magnificent new look you have."

  "Where have you been, my lovely?" he asked her.

  "Where have I been?" asked Camille. "I've been in that wall for over 10,000 years waiting for you."

  "Stay and talk to me as the Mantis leads the Rinshi on a little raid." said Dai Shi, motioning Mantis to go.

  "Rinshi, let's go." said Mantis, leading them away from the temple.

  "Well, how's the pizza?" R.J. asked the small trio.

  "Yeah, yeah, yeah." said Theo. "It was amazing."

  "Ah!"

  "But that's not why we came here." said Theo.

  "Right, you're looking for your master." said R.J., cryptically. "If you're supposed to meet the both of them here, then I suggest you wait. You can work here until the two of them shows up."

  "Work here?" questioned Theo. "No, no. We don't work for anyone, right, guys?"

  "His sister does." said Casey.

  "Okay." said R.J., hands raised as he backs off.

  "Look, Theo, we're in the real world now." said Lily. "There are things to get, things to have, and we need money to do that. Now, I am not gonna spend another day in these pajamas."

  "Okay, fine." said Theo. "I'll be a manager or something reasonable, but only until our master and the other arrives, not a day more."

  Just then, an explosion was heard outside, causing the small trio to look out the parlor. Dani came down stairs and stood beside her brother. "Come on. We better check it out." said Lily.

  "Uh, yeah, well, maybe I should just stay here until I get my bearings." said Casey.

  "Hey, if you're gonna be part of this team, now's the time." said Theo, taking Casey with him and Lily out of the parlor.

  "I was half way through standing on my ball exercise when that happened." Dani said to R.J., pointing to the screaming outside of the parlor.

  Out in Ocean Bluff, Rinshi were spreading fear into the people. "Yes! Gather their fear, Rinshi!" said Mantis as the Rinshi hopped around. "It makes us stronger! It makes me stronger!"

  Lily, Theo and Casey ran into the city and sees what was happening. "What are those things?" asked Casey.

  "My guess? Friends of Dai Shi." said Lily.

  "Let's do it." said Theo. They get into their stances and ran over to help frightened people.

  "Come on!" said Lily as she helps take a woman from her car while Theo and Casey were fighting the Rinshi. Lily was then tossed around on her own in a sea of Rinshi.

  It wasn't until the Rinshi tossed Theo to the ground. "Time for my true form!" said Mantis as he sheds his Rinshi body and reveals his animal spirit body. "Now for some real destruction!"

  "Hyah!" shouted Theo, backflipping off a car before being thrown back by Rinshi and into Casey.

  "Well, looked what crawled out from under a rock!" said Theo.

  "Pound for pound, humans are no match for a bug." said Mantis, then hits the ground, causing Casey and Theo to be thrown back.

  "Hey!" shouted Lily, running over to the boys as Mantis stalks them, ughing. She then tries to fight Mantis on her own.

  "Care to join your friends?" asked Mantis. Not waiting to hear her answer, Mantis throws Lily towards Casey and Theo, ughing at their pain. "And now to finish you little pests!"

  Laughing, Mantis walks towards the small trio until R.J and Dani appeared. "Whoa…dude…step back." said R.J.

  "You're killing today's vibe." said Dani.

  "I think it's time for your first lesson…" R.J. said to Theo, Lily and Casey. "You can't judge a book by its cover."

  R.J. then reveals his Pai Zhuq tattoo. "I was kinda hoping you guys would get the hint." said Dani. "But I can't wait to see what animal spirits you guys have."

  "Whoa!" said Casey, realizing what was going on as Lily and Theo smiled at each other.

  R.J. and Dani got into their jungle stances, ready to see what Mantis would bring to their combined energies.

  "Attack!" shouted Mantis as the Rinshi ran forward. Brother and sister fought with their combined strengths, knocking every one of them down. "What?!" said a shocked Mantis.

  R.J. and Dani thought it was time to unleashed their animal spirits. Purple energy surrounded R.J. while fuchsia energy surrounded Dani. A combined set of purple and fuchsia energy bst hits Mantis, causing an explosion.

  "I'll get you!" said Mantis, gaining back his Rinshi body and flees the scene.

  "You're them!" said Casey as he, Lily and Theo walked up. "You're our master and the other who was selected!"

  "Oh, uh…." said R.J. "Just call me R.J."

  "Dani is just fine." said Dani.

  "Now, my students…the real journey begins." said R.J., leading them back to the pizza parlor.

  At Dai Shi's temple, Dai Shi couldn't believe what he just heard. "I give you great power, but you return to me without a victory." Dai Shi said to Mantis. "I can take your power as easily as I gave it."

  "Yes!" hissed Camille. "Take it! Destroy the icky mantis."

  "No!" shrieked Mantis.

  "Silence." said Dai Shi. "Camille, go into the city with the Rinshi. Perhaps together, you can manage to succeed."

  "I will not fail you." said Camille, then goes into her other form.

  "Oh, yeah." said Casey.

  "That was great." said Lily as they all went inside.

  "Where was everyone?" asked Fran, the girl with the books.

  "You know that I went with my brother, Fran." said Dani as she walks past her.

  "I know, but…." said Fran as Dani headed upstairs and she turns to R.J. "The door was opened and people were waiting, and so I ended up taking orders and making Pizzas, and I took money and I put it in the register and I cleaned and I turned off the oven…."

  "Oh, remember to breathe, Fran." said R.J., trying to calm her down then introduces her to the others. "Fran, this is…Theo, Lily and Casey."

  "Hey Fran." said Lily as the boys greeted her.

  "Fran is our best customer." R.J. expined. "She's here every day and she tries to listen to Dani's day."

  "Oh, it's not like I have nothing else to do. I do." Fran said. "It's just I love pizza, all the toppings and the smell and the taste. I like spaghetti, as well, the sauce, the meatballs…."

  "Uh, breathe, Fran." said R.J. "We'll see you tomorrow. And maybe you'll actually hear what's going on in Dani's day."

  "Yeah. Bye." said Fran.

  "Bye." he said as she leaves. "Follow me."

  R.J. takes the small trio through the kitchen and up to the loft. "Look at the size of this pce!" said Theo, shocked as they got up there.

  "Wow! This pce is great!" said Casey, taking a basketball and throws it.

  "Check it out!" said Lily, turning on some pop music. "Ow!"

  "It's nice…" said Theo, running his hand through. "but it needs a cleaning."

  "Hey, thanks for volunteering, Theo." said R.J.

  "Hey, I didn't…" said Theo.

  "Mi casa es su casa." said R.J. "Thie is where you'll be living, training, pying and working. Everything is yours…"

  Just then, Lily was about to sit in R.J.'s chair, but he stops her. "Except that chair and Dani's things….." said R.J. "My chair. It's mine. It's off limits. Got it?

  "Got it." they said.

  "Be forewarned, Dani is very particur about who touches her things." said R.J. "Especially a couple of her collections."

  "Got it." they said, nodding at him.

  "Hey, where is Dani anyway?" asked Casey and R.J. points to where she is.

  In the center of the room, they see Dani, who was blind folded, standing on what seems to be a circus ball. "I can do it….I can do it…." She murmured to herself, bancing a bit. "I sense my usual wolf spirit brother…but the newbies have….Tiger….Cheetah and….Jaguar."

  "How did she….?" Lily was about to ask when Dani holds out her hands towards her brother, palms facing up. R.J. then draws in her hand on how she should get down. She smiles at him and does it even better.

  Dani walks to the left side of the ball, heading towards the farthest end of the room and starts walking backwards until she does a backflip. As Dani nded on her feet, fuchsia energy surrounded her as she brings for her spirit animal. Out from her body, a fuchsia Leopard comes out and stares the three down, growling in delight.

  "A leopard…cool." said Casey.

  "How'd I do, R.J.?" asked Dani, taking off the blind fold.

  "Not bad, but you still need to work on getting the ball to bounce back into where it belongs." said R.J.

  "Got it." said Dani, then turns to the others. "My Leopard spirit just likes to show off but doesn't mind when R.J. gives it a challenge. Also, Master Mao told me long before he went into the spirit world."

  "Oh…" said Lily.

  "Next order of business is to get you out of those pajamas." said R.J. and hands his sister and each student a different color training uniform.

  "Hey! New training gear. Got to love that." said Casey.

  "Look at all those TVs." said Lily as she was handed yellow. "I havent watched TV in years!"

  "TVs?" asked R.J.

  "Oh…." said Dani.

  "No, these are much, much more." said R.J. "It's a state-of-the-art, city-wide monitoring system…plus 1,253 cable channels. Pretty sweet, huh?"

  "Yeah…but who was the one who had to set up all these TVs and state-of-the-art, city-wide monitoring system?" asked Dani.

  "My one and only baby sister." said R.J., smiling nervously

  "That's right! It was ground breaking work." said Dani.

  Suddenly, one of the TVs showed Rinshi appearing in the city. "Looks like our friends are up to no good again." said Theo. "Let's get 'em!"

  Just as they were leaving, Theo, Lily and Casey looked back as Dani stood at the top of the stairs. "Come on, R.J." said Theo.

  "Uh, no, no. I have a pizza store to run." he tells them. "Fighting evil is your and my sister's job, but….I did notice you were a little overpowered st time, so I got a gift for you to even out the odds." R.J. shows them sungsses, matching their training gear.

  "Sungsses?" asked Lily.

  "They're not just sungsses." said R.J. "They're sor morphers. You ever hear of the power rangers?"

  "Yeah, who hasn't?" asked Casey.

  "Well, guess what?" asked R.J. "You…be….them."

  "You're letting me, your baby sister, become a power ranger?" asked Dani.

  "You're ready." he tells her.

  "No way!" said Theo. "Ever since I was a little kid, I always wanted to be a….if that's what it takes."

  "The power rangers aren't part of the order of the cw," R.J. expined. "but I figured we needed everything we could get to fight the Dai Shi, so I knew this guy who knew this other guy who had an uncle, who had a connection…"

  "R.J., your babbling…." said Dani.

  "Anyway, he tapped into the morphing grid, and…voilà!" said R.J., picking up Theo's morpher. "Your morphers. Once you activate them, all the knowledge that comes with them will be instantaneously entered into your cellur makeup. Pretty gnarly, huh? Now…go out there and beat down evil. And now you'll look good doing it."

  "Go, Rinshi!" ordered Camille as she lead them through town. "Feed on the fear of the people!"

  The now quartet of rangers ran towards Camille, causing her to grunt in anger. "Oh, look…." she said. "humans."

  "I don't know about you three…" said Theo. "But I think it's time to show them what we got." Lily, Dani and Theo walked forward as Casey stood by, watching them put on their morphers.

  "Ready!" they shouted.

  "Jungle Beast…Spirit Unleashed!"

  Theo was first through the Morphing grid as the Jaguar came out and gave him a blue Jaguar ranger suit.

  Lily went next through the grid as the Cheetah came through and gave her a yellow Cheetah ranger suit.

  Dani went second to st through the grid as her Leopard spirit came out, giving her a fuchsia Leopard ranger suit.

  "With the speed of a cheetah…Jungle Fury, Yellow Ranger!" said Lily.

  "With the stealth of a jaguar….Jungle Fury, Blue Ranger!" said Theo.

  "With the agility of a leopard….Jungle Fury, Fuchsia Ranger!" said Dani.

  "Attack!" Camille commanded the Rinshi, who then grunted and hopped towards three of the rangers.

  "Oh, wow, that's awesome." Casey said in awe as he takes out his morpher. "Its my turn now. Spirit unleashed!"

  Nothing happened for Casey as he tried again. "Come on!" said Lily as several Rinshi went for her. "Too fast for you! Call to the beast inside! Bring out the Cheetah!" Lily roars as the Cheetah comes out at full speed at the Rinshi.

  Theo was battling his group of Rinshi. "Whoa!" said Theo as the Rinshi aimed their staffs at him. "Whoa! Too slow! Missed, and again! Down low, too slow!"

  One by one, a few went down. "Call to the beast inside! Unleash the Jaguar!" Theo shouted as the Jaguar runs out and barrel rolls the Rinshi, roaring in victory.

  "Ha! Better you cant follow me!" said Dani as runs around the Rinshi in a circle, until they started to follow her with their staffs in hand. "You're pretty good! Bet you cant stand in a straight line!"

  The Rinshi did so without realizing what they were doing. "Call to the beast inside! Release the leopard!" shouted Dani as the Leopard comes out of her body and stomps on every Rinshi.

  Casey on the other hand, was still trying to figure out what went wrong when suddenly he hears a woman screaming. He looks over and sees Fran being terrorized by Mantis. "Fran!" excimed Casey.

  "Yes!" Mantis said, gleefully as Fran continued to scream. "Give me your fear! Give me all of it!"

  Casey was about to go help Fran when Rinshi gathered around him, holding him back as Camille ughs.
