The Strong Gods Book 2 Announcement

  Hey howdy hey, friends!

Madness of Princes (The Strong Gods Book 2) will start posting chapters on this coming Monday (January 27). I can't wait to jump back in and see how our newly grafted pals are dealing with their new status as Royal Thorns. Life is probably all candy and rainbows for them now!

Boring schedule details: For Book 2, we will be switching to a Monday - Wednesday - Friday schedule so I can keep ahead of cleaning up and making all these chapters nice and shiny for your reading pleasure.

But still... Beware... Here there be monsters... and scary spelling errors...

Book 2 hasn't been as carefully revised and edited as Book 1 was, and it will probably have a lot of grammar, spelling, and punctuation mistakes, not to mention who knows what else. I hope they don't bother you too much. If you spot errors, let me know and I'll get them fixed on the double. That would be so helpful!

In the meantime, while we're all chomping at the bit to get back to Izak, Alaan, Lathe, and the gang! (And of course the mad queen, who everybody told me is your favorite character, and who you want to live through the whole Strong Gods series and ultimately triumph over everybody else in the end. (Yeesh, if you love her so much, why don't you just marry her?))

For those of you who are curious about Saint Daven and Saint Galen's story, and what happened between Lord Clarencio and the disgraced former Thorn before the events of Scourge of Thorns (TSG Book 1), my Patreon has an exclusive stand-alone Strong Gods novel that answers all your questions. It's called Broken Thorns.

Find this and other great novels on the author's preferred platform. Support original creators!

  Here's the description:

In the brutal Kingdom of Night, elite swordsmen called Thorns train with blood magic and blade to defend their lords. Some boys become Thorns for glory, others for a steady meal.

And some do it to escape their bloody pasts.

Twins Saint Daven and Saint Galen would have been executed for murder if they hadn’t volunteered to become Thorns. Little do the Saints know, the rebellious lord they’ve just been bound to serve is hiding a secret even deadlier than theirs...

The sort of secret that could topple a kingdom...

Again, I should say, reader beware...

Broken Thorns is even darker than Scourge of Thorns (TSG1) was. I mean, it is the story of the Lord of the Cinterland's last stand against the king, and you know Hazerial doesn't mind breaking eggs to make an omelet. But if you think you can handle that, or you're just crazy, lol, I'll put a link to my patreon down in the author note below.

See you Monday! I hope you have the best weekend! Stay warm if you're somewhere cold!

P.S. Thanks again for all the reading and rating and commenting you all did on The Strong Gods 1! I'm having a blast writing new chapters in this universe, and I can't wait to get them out to you peeps! You rock!
