Chapter 17 Handcuffs? Not needed anymore!

Chapter 17: Handcuffs? Not needed anymore!

I'm currently ranked last on the urban category newcomer list... seniors, it's just a small effort for you to help me collect and recommend more, thank you!

  -----------

A tightly clenched fist shot out, like a sudden winter thunderstorm, breaking through the dark and humid air, as if a giant dragon from the East soared into the sky, making intimate contact with the white man's chin.

A white man spewing garbage talk let out a strange cry and fell half a meter, landing on the ground in disarray, with a face covered in black blood and four or five teeth knocked out of his mouth.

Rolling his eyes, the white man lay on the muddy ground like a dead fish, the baseball bat in his hand had long since flown off in an unknown direction.

"Damn it, you're looking for death!" The black man was furious, shouting and waving his knife viciously, not caring about Kristina's shrill screams, and was about to stab Zhou Shaoming with one slash.

  "Card!"

A cold gun suddenly appeared in Zhou Shaoming's hand, the black muzzle pointing directly at the black man's stout forehead, behind which was Zhou Shaoming's icy and bloodthirsty face.

The knife hovering in mid-air, the black man stared incredulously at the gun barrel in front of him, his heart racing with fear.

"Do you want to taste the bullet?" Zhou Shaoming said with a sarcastic smile.

"No, no! Hey, buddy, it's a misunderstanding!" The black man's face changed greatly, the butterfly knife in his hand also fell to the ground, and beads of sweat emerged.

"Give me back my money!" Zhou Shaoming slapped the black man in the face and said viciously.

"Hey, buddy, don't be like that! We don't have any deep grudges, no need to pull out a gun!" The black man rubbed his face, but didn't dare say it hurt, and stammered as he returned the wallet to Zhou Shaoming.

"Kneel down, you scared the lady. Sincerely apologize to her!" Zhou Shaoming took over the money and poked the black man's head with his gun.

A black man with a face as black as coal, but with a hint of red, kept making noises and refused to kneel down.

"Old man, I'll shoot you!" Zhou Shaoming's face was ferocious, and he suddenly kicked the black man, forcing him to kneel down.

"Miss, miss, I was wrong! I'll never dare to do it again!" The black man was so scared that he started crying loudly, with tears and snot all over his face.

Not far away, a police siren sounded loudly. Someone must have been awakened by Kristina's loud scream and discovered what was happening below, calling the police to report it.

"Get out of here!" Zhou Shaoming saw the police car coming and panicked, his own kidnapping and unlicensed gun possession could not be exposed, and he hastily told the black man to roll away.

A black man picks up a white man who has been knocked unconscious and makes a swift escape down the alley.

The bright light of the lamp shone over, Zhou Shaoming and Kristina couldn't help but squint their eyes. The police car stopped beside them, and two policemen jumped out, loudly asking: "Hey, do you need any help? Someone just called to report this incident?"

Zhou Shaoming's heart suddenly sank, and he turned his head to look at Kristina, his face pale as snow.

If Christina were to shout out loud that she is a kidnapper and has a gun on her, she would be thrown into prison immediately!

What dreams, what movies, what director's system will be thrown into the trash heap and no one will ever know!

Christina's face turned pale, she stared blankly at the police officer, then looked at Zhou Shaoming, her mind was in a mess for a while.

Tell the police that he's a bad guy and tried to rape me? Kristen's mind was in turmoil, she stood there for a moment, speechless.

"Hey, are you guys okay?" The police officer seemed to realize something was off and asked hastily.

Christina's mind was racing with countless scenes, making it impossible for her to calm the surging blood and catch her breath.

That was him with red eyes, pouncing on me, and he almost succeeded if I hadn't fought back desperately.

That was him suddenly running over to say he was wrong, because he had a crush on me and that's why he did the wrong thing. He apologized very sincerely.

That's what he said when he wanted to make a movie, shouting "I'm king of the kings!"

That was him writing the script all night, and he himself didn't sleep a wink, accompanying him all along.

That was him comforting his crying self, solemnly saying that he would let himself become an Oscar-winning actress and fulfill his ultimate dream.

What should I do? Go back to that room where I was imprisoned for a week?

The police found it strange that the beautiful woman in front of them just slightly opened her attractive small mouth but didn't say a word.

"Miss, what's wrong? Do you need help?"

"Oh, I'm sorry, officer. I think I got a shock. Sorry." Christina's eyes stared at Zhou Shaoming and involuntarily leaned towards him, taking his hand.

His hands were cold and damp, was it due to fear?

Finally, I've made a decision. If it's wrong, then so be it!

"Officer, just now there were two guys attacking us. Luckily my boyfriend knows Chinese kung fu and chased them away! They ran in that direction!" Christina pointed to where the black man had escaped, shouting loudly.

"Why don't you take a taxi back instead? This road hasn't been very safe lately!" the policeman suggested kindly.

"Don't worry, I have him!" Kristina leaned against Zhou Shaoming's side and giggled coquettishly.

"Alright, let's go!" The police officer started the car and sped off in the direction Christina had pointed.

As the police car drove away into the distance, Zhou Shaoming's heart finally fell back down, and he let out a gentle sigh of relief, filled with gratitude towards Kirsten, saying: "Thank you."

But Christina didn't say a word, she just stared at Zhou Shaoming's face and raised the handcuff on his right hand.

Originally, Zhou Shaoming did not unlock his own handcuff to protect Christina, but unlocked the other one. Now the handcuffs are hanging from Zhou Shaoming's left hand, blocked by the picked-up clothes.

This small act full of kindness and concern was also an important reason that prompted Christina to make a decision.

  Card

Christina reunites with Zhou Shaoming once again.

Zhou Shaoming seemed to understand a little. He didn't say anything, but quietly gazed at the lovely and pure Christina in the night wind, with a faint smile.

  ------

It was another fine day, Zhou Shaoming walked out with his head held high, and under Kristina's laughing blessings, he went out even more spirited.

  Handcuffs? Apparently not needed.

Christina can have her freedom, she can leave anytime, but she didn't, instead she chose to stay. In her words, she wants to keep a close eye on her $30,000 investment and not let Zhou Shaoming squander it.

Next, Chow Sau-ming visited the other two important actors from Saw, one of whom was Cary Elwes, who played Dr. Lawrence Gordon in the film, and the other was Leigh Whannell, who played Adam.

But Zhou Shaoming's good luck seemed to have run out, as Evans was busy filming other movies and didn't think much of the film's box office prospects, let alone investing his own money.

So Evans flatly refused and kindly reminded Zhou Shaoming that the horror movies Americans liked to watch were about carrying big knives and killing people everywhere, which was not something that used various ingenious devices to take lives.

In his opinion, those who kill in a roundabout way are no match for those who come straight to the point, with flesh and blood flying everywhere.

Zhou Shaoming could only decline with thanks and slink away to find Warner, who played Adam.
