Russels flight instinct almost kicks in. Seeing the monstruous Trigor takes him back to when he was 12 years old. He doesn't have time to think about it though. Then hell breaks loose.

  A huge amount of energy seems to instantly gather in the Trigors hands. What appears gives everyone the worst goosebumps they ever had. A gigantic maul with sharp spikes all over it. Everyone in squad 955 knows that if they get hit by that even once, its game over.

  Then Trigors attacks. It instantly goes to Manu. Russel sees Manu's a red transparant hue appear around Manu's fists.

  The one eyed Trigor seems to abandon all defense and goes for a maximum power strike towards Manu's head.

  Then Manu strikes his fist together which creates a huge explosion!

  BOOM

  Russel feels his innards shake. Then he sees Manu unharmed with some mild burns 50 meters away from the Trigor. The Trigor however has some severe burns and even one of its scales is missing.

  "STOP STANDING STILL AND HELP ME OUT" Manu shouts.

  This gets the whole squad out of their daze and everybody springs into action. Everyone except for Russel.

  "MOVE BODY MOVE!" Russel yells to himself in his head. However it has no succes. Russel's body just does not respond to his brain. He is still frozen in place.

  In the meanwhile the rest of the squad all attack the Trigor.

  The scout, Lex, is the first one to arrive. With his shoes that spark lightning where he runs he runs around the Trigor.

  The Trigor frustatingly tries to hammer Lex but he is too quick. This buys enough time for everyone else to arrive and surround the Trigor in a formation.

  Jack and Qion are both standing on opposite sites of the Trigor. Behind Jack is Charlotte, one of the supporters and she has a flute in her hand and is playing a soothing melody which seems to make everyone calm down a bit.

  Behind Qions bulky figure is Liam and Theo. Liam has a handgun in his hand and is shooting some debuffs at the Trigor which make it a bit slower.

  Theo on the other hand has a huge sniper rifle in his hands and is laying on his belly on the ground. An enormous amount of energy seems to gather in the chamber of the sniper.

  In the meanwhile Olivia and Manu are quickly approaching the Trigor. Manu still has his red fists and Olvia has a long sword in her hands. It seems extremely sharp.

  The soothing melody enters Russels ears and he feels his mind becoming more calm and his control over his body comes back! Seeing the whole squad except for him working together on such a high level gives him hope. They can beat this one eyed Trigor!

  Russel starts moving towards the squad. But the Trigor is not so kind to wait until Russel arrives and the battle commences again.

  This time the target is Theo, the long range attacker. It seems that the Trigor instantly noticed the energy he is gathering.

  Manu and Olivia bombard the Trigor with attacks. It left its back wide open! They manage to inflict some wounds but nothing too serious.

  Isa also joins them in, the all rounder. Just before she attacks she stabs herself with a syringe in her right arm and a red fluid rapidly enters her body. Then her arm turns entirely red and she strikes the Trigor!

  BAM

  This attack seems to have broken some ribs of the Trigor at least! Russel wants to cheer almost but then he sees Manu, Olivia's and Isa's gritted teeth. Isa's attack has propelled the Trigor forward even faster and now Theo can't finish his attack on time!

  It's all up to the bald Qion now. He is wielding a gigantic Shield that has a bronze color. He raises it and a magnetic energy seems to come from it.

  The Trigor tries to jump over it but it seems to get stuck mid air! This should buy Theo enough time and the close range attackers are also closing in on the Trigors.

  Russel has closed 75% of the distance in the 2 seconds that all of this happend. One has to remember that fights are extremely fast even at the Initiate level.

  While it frustrates Russel that he can't make the battle on time he is glad that they will win it easily.

  However he hasn't been more wrong in his entire life..

  The Trigor looks down with an annoyed look at Qion and his magnetic shield pull. Then it just throws the maul with spikes at Qion!!

  BOOOOM

  The sheer force coming from the impact knocks back Manu, Olivia and Isa. The only one who is still in range is Liam who gives some strength buffs to Theo and gives some hinders the Trigor some more. He has a calm look on his face and his experience in fighting really comes to light here.

  While it certainly helps a lot, it is not enough..

  The Trigor closes the gap to Theo. It does not have a weapon but Trigors have the body of an entire stage higher than what Trigger they have. This is an Early Initiate Trigor so Theo will be attacked by an Early Fusion stage attack. That is bad, it would have been even worse if the Trigor had its weapon since that would raise the sub stage by 2 steps! Making it a whopping Late stage Fusion attack.

  Theo's eyes widen. His weapon is at 95% of gathering the energy. He has to fire it now! But if he does he wont be able to aim it very well. He closes his eyes and continues focusing on gathering the final 5%.

  BAM

  A huge cloud dust appears. Russels eyes shoot into a panic. He has arrived and thought it would be over but Theo did not fire his attack!

  The Trigor got its attack in. Everybody looks in shock to the squad leader.

  "WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT ME FOR. THE FIGHT IS NOT OVER." he yells to all the Officers.

  The dust settles and they see Theo laying unconsciously around 10 meters away from the Trigor. He is unharmed however?!

  Then Russel sees Jack standing next to Theo's body. Of course! He must have used his ability to make Jack transparent so he could not be directly hit by the Trigor. The sheer force of the Trigor hitting the ground after that must have knocked him out.

  Then Jack drops to the ground. He must have overused his energy to save Theo..

  Russel is now standing alone eye to eye with the Trigor. If it weren't for Charlotte's melody playing he could not even move properly.

  "Killer Point Vision" Russel whispers.

  Instantly various spots appear on the Trigors body. He also sees that the Trigor has its energy shield on its eye. Seems that is a weak spot.

  Russel starts sprinting towards the Trigor. He will take it down! His team has already weakened it. Manu, Olivia and Isa are just behind him and can follow up after him. Lex seems to got caught up in the previous attack and is catching up as well.

  They got this!

  Then the horror of fighting a Trigor comes to them. The Trigor turns around and sprints towards Theo and Jack. Who are laying there knocked out and unable to defend themselves.

  "NOOO." Russel screams and he pushes his body to the utmost limit.

  WHOOM

  In almost an instant Russel catches up to the Trigor and he strikes at the spot where Isa has broken a couple of Ribs.

  The Trigor seems to have been caught off guard by Russels sudden burst of speed. How was it able to catch up to him??

  The Trigor knows with it limited intelligence that these are all Initiates. So if this weak human is so fast it cannot be strong. That is the conclusion it draws and also what will end the fight right here and now.

  BAM

  A devastating kick knocks the Trigor to the ground. The Trigor coughs up red blood and is hurled up. It tries to stand up immediately but it does not get the chance as Manu, Olivia, Isa and Lex caught up to it and start hammering down attacks on it with desperation.

  SWOOSH

  The Trigor body seems to have disappeared out of nowhere. Then they see the cage erupted again and Corporal Peterson is standing next to it.

  "Congratulations Officers, you have won against the Early Initiate Trigor." He says with a smile.

  Cheers erupt from everyone and they carry Theo, Jack and Qion to the infirmary. They have done it! They beat the Trigor!
