I stood and went to blink, but Sabi suddenly squeezed me and pushed my mana down. “Nya!” I snapped at her. But she didn’t let go.
“No Tama! You will hurt yourself again! Wait!”” I paused at that, then fell to my knees.
“So.. Tama can’t.. Blink..” I asked weakly. My tail curled between my legs and my ears flattened.
“Not.. for a while Tama, please.” Sabi asked me nervously. Sabi crawled off of me, looked at me worriedly for a moment, then began to heal Saki. As she did, she looked back at me. “Tama… I have been thinking about.. Things.”
Saki had passed out and was unresponsive. “I have been alive a very long time. Even if many of those years were spent in a comatose state, I always considered I understood the world.” Sabi continued as Saki’s puffy eyes became less puffy.
Kita appeared, she wrapped her arms around me and kissed my cheek. I tried to pull away but Kita held me tight. I almost blinked, then stopped myself. “Nya! Let Tama go!” I snapped.
The collar on Kita’s neck glowed and she let go of me. “Yes, Mistress Tama.” She said with a clear joy that reminded me of Tristy. I ignored her words and made a point not to look at her collar.
Instead, I looked back to Sabi. She turned and looked at me as she stood. “Tama, I.. I don’t think I have been a very good pet. But, I also don’t think I want to be your pet anymore.” She swallowed at her own words and looked uncomfortable.
I nodded. “If Sabi wants to leave she can go wher…” Before I could finish, Sabi instantly cut me off.
“No! That’s not what I am saying.. Tama, I want… I want to be your friend.” Her voice cut midway through before she forced herself to finish.
I frowned at her. “Tama doesn’t understand.” My tail lashed back and forth as I watched Sabi.
She rubbed her hands together for a moment before she looked back up at me, took a deep breath, and spoke. Tama, I want to be your friend. Not your pet. I will always love you and want to serve you. But, I just…” She trailed off as she tried to find words.
Kita snorted. “You can’t even get it out. See, I told you, you don’t understand anything. You and I, we knew our place. Get back in line and everything will be fine. You know Tama is forgiving.”
Sabi looked very uncertain. She looked at Kita, then at me. She opened her mouth, then closed it. “I..” She sighed and deflated. “It’s.. it’s nothing.. I’m sorry for interrupting Mistress.” She turned and water began to pour on Saki’s body again.
I stood there for a long moment before turning to Kita. “Kita, go jump off a cliff.” Kita’s collar began to glow and her eyes went wide. She turned, and ran towards the northern mountains.
I walked over to Sabi, gently leaned in and held her. Kissing her on the cheek I whispered. “Sabi will always be Tama’s friend. She can be whatever she wants. Tama loves Sabi.”
“Did you need to send our daughter careening off a cliff?” Mixie said as she appeared next to me out of the shadows. I looked at her and she raised an eyebrow.
“Nya.” Was all I said. My tail lashed as I stared at her. She sighed after a moment, rolled her eyes and smirked.
“You really are a Tamaneko, you know that? Please take care of her, she is childish, but she means well.” Then Mixie was just.. Gone.
“Aye, this be a right disaster.” Rodrick said as he now appeared.
I repeated myself. “Nya.” Sabi had turned and was crying into my chest. I gently brushed her hair with my hand.
“Don’t be takin this the wrong way Princess, but I be needing to git back to me kingdom. Mind if we speed up this here coronation.: Rodrick’s words caused me to pause and I looked up at him.
“Everyone is dead!” I snapped at him. “There is no coronation! The kingdom is gone!” Rodrick looked at me for a moment, then began to laugh.
“You be joking of course right Tamaneko? Just use your city interface to rewind the last twenty four hours. I be thinking the one hundred year cooldown be worth it in this case!” I blinked at him in confusion.

“But.. Tama can’t read.” I said weakly. Rodrick laughed even harder at that and said. “Then why you be using the text version! I swears you Tamaneko’s be the death of me one day, and I already be death! HAHA!”
Sabi suddenly flooded into me. And my purple box popped up. She began going through my menus and pushing lots of buttons.
After a moment, another blue box appeared.
Warning! Using this function will reverse time by twenty four hours. This is an irreversible act and will come with severe consequences!
The small button on the left was selected and everything around us suddenly turned white.
I opened my eyes and Kita was standing over me. She was naked and holding her sex toy. “Now, it's your turn to do it to me.” She giggled. She wasn’t wearing the collar, and the four poster bed I was laying on was in one piece.
I pushed her off of me and reformed my dress as I rushed out of the room. “Wait Tama! I’m sorry! I can do more..” Kita cried as I took off down the hall. I blinked until I reached the kitchen.
Stopping, I grabbed a cookie off the table and began gnawing on it. “You really love my cookies that much Tama?” Aunt Alissa asked and she blushed.
“Nya! I said as I finished the cookie and rushed to the foyer. I held my breath as I saw her. Saki and Tully were talking to each other. Saki turned and saw me. She smiled and beckoned me over.
I blinked over and she pulled me into a hug. “Tama, I am glad you're safe! I was worried Kita might have tried something with you. That girl is..” Before she could finish, Sabi rushed around the corner.
She stopped right in front of me and asked. “What now?” I shrugged as Mixie appeared and tackled her. “Caught you my little minx, time to shift for mommy!”
Sabi froze for a moment before looking at me. “I’ll play along, do not fight Kita! That’s what ruined everything!” She said before her form shimmered and she turned into a short man.. Naked.. Is.. I looked at his private area.. Or I tried but Mixie grabbed him and vanished.
I felt Kita grab my shoulder. “Why did you leave? I promise I can do so much better!”
“Tama needs to talk to Saki! It is very important!” I said to Saki. Saki frowned but nodded.
Turning to General Tully she said. “I am so sorry, but I need to handle this.” General Tully just bowed and stepped back. Saki took my hand and pulled me into the throne room.
The moment she closed the doors behind her, she grabbed my wrist and pulled me behind a pillar. After a moment, an illusion popped up around us making us appear.. Invisible?!
She turned to me and looked at me seriously. “Okay Tama, What's wrong? That look on your face, you act like you have seen something horrible. I am here okay?”
I nodded nervously. My hand went to my throat, and for the shortest moment I considered if maybe.. Maybe I shouldn’t tell her. Then I shook my head. She only wanted to help. “Saki… Tama is from the future. She used the menu thingy to go back in time to fix bad things that happened!”
Saki blinked, looked around the room, then back at me. She smiled as if to laugh, then after a moment her smile faded. “Your.. you're serious.. Aren’t you?” I nodded and she fell to her knees. She seemed lost in thought for a moment, I fell to my knees and held her.
After a long moment, she grabbed my shoulders and looked me in the eyes. “I need you to tell me everything Tama… Everything…”
Manna appeared and grabbed me. I looked at Saki, the horror on her face. “Thank’s Saki, As always, the perfect..little..pet..” Her words grated on me. She grabbed me and with the necklace I was worthless.
She pulled me into the air and I weakly attacked her claws. Saki fired a purple ball but she missed and I was steadily rising into the air. I watched as the castle became a distant blip before the clouds covered it.
Manna’s voice entered my head. “I told you she would betray you little one. Now look at what she had done. She has made you helpless, weak. She is a failure. But not to worry, soon you will be so much more and you won’t need her.”
I sighed before smiling. “Tama thinks you are overconfident.” I brought my hand up to the necklace and activated it, causing it to fall off and fall uselessly to the ground. I instantly blinked on top of Manna and stabbed down.
“What is this!” Manna said in surprise as I broke free. “A tric..” Before she could finish, Kita in a silver collar appeared and smashed Manna’s head causing the dragon to lose consciousness and begin to spin.
“It’s really quite simple Tama, we play through again, except this time you accept Kita and you two fake the battle. She wins and gets her collar anyways, and you pretend to be weakened, we play the same game except this time, you control the collar, not me!”
Saki’s words played in my head and I smiled as I grabbed Manna and began to blink straight down. I barely reached the ground and we both landed, Manna left a crater and I landed softly next to her.
Corsis and Millarie landed on either side of her and tried to lift her. Corsis’s head slid off as I decapitated him in one slice. Millarie tried to take off, but a sphere of purple cut clean through her from the side and she fell to the ground dead.
“Perfect!” Saki said as she casually walked over and began to grow a large void sphere. “And now, we finish this you worthless monster!”
