Update: Pre-Order Information & Cover

  Hello hello!

This is an update to share two things: the pre-order information for and , as well as the books' covers. As a reminder, both will publish on Monday, February 23, 2026.

I should also mention that there will be a paperback version of Fate's Attendant available on the 23rd. (For some reason, Amazon won't accept pre-orders for print editions.)

  Here are the links:

Both books underwent extensive revisions in preparation for publication. If you're wondering what's changed...

In Fate's Attendant, I switched the POV so that it sticks to only one person per scene. That meant adding and tweaking some scenes to more naturally fit the flow of action. As a result, you hear some characters' "voices" much earlier in the story, which also provides a nice bit of foreshadowing. Otherwise, I closed plot holes, added texture, strengthened character portrayals, and tightened the writing.

The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

In Eight 5, the writing was already tight, but I did do some trimming to improve the story's pacing. I also added a couple of new scenes and tweaked others to strengthen the flow. This is especially true for the events surrounding Melwei and his team.

As for the covers, the one for Fate's Attendant was illustrated by Alejandro Colucci:

And Eight 5's was illustrated by Tithi Luadthong, who is also responsible for the covers of all the other books in the series:

I'm so happy with how these turned out.

Thank you again for your support. You've been amazing compatriots on this writing journey! ??
