What he saw was a blinding light.
His vision almost disappeared when he stared at Seer's eyes, it was so bright that his eyes felt like it was hammered, his head pounding in pain.
"Ugghr!"
He instantly covered his eyes and lowered his head, groaning in pain.
What realm do I reach to stop being vulnerable, I hate these craps!
He cursed mentally.
Seer went quiet, and frowned.
He suddenly felt a faint discomfort in his heart, but didn't know why.
He stared at the groaning Jin Yu, frowning even more.
What was that?
He thought, uncomfortable.
After a while, the pain in Jin Yu's eyes lessened and he stop groaning, but his left eye was still throbbing and his right eye was taking most of the brunt.
When he finally lowered his hand and looked at Seer again.
He was gone.
In his place stood a figure of grey mass.
Jin Yu could see the outline of Seer, but rather than skin, it was just a grey mass.
And on this grey Mass, Wisps of milky-white light was curling and swirling around the figure without end.
They were dense and concentrated, Like a spiderweb, and merely looking at them, the pain in his left eye intensified, it felt like it was about to burst apart.
But jin Yu was far immersed to stop.
His gaze followed the curling wisps, trailing upwards from the legs to the torso.
The light started getting brighter at this point, and they weren't just wisps anymore, they clung together like a thick smoke, hiding the figure beneath.
Peng! Peng! Peng!
His left eye thudded strongly like a beating heart, pupil expanding wildly like a beast desperate to see something, something not meant to be seen.
Jin Yu held his pounding head, and tried to look away from the blinding light, but his eye refused to listen, it kept pounding as if it'll remove from it's socket and latch onto the light, just to see every single secrets contained within.
The wisps of light recoiled at his gaze, as if uncomfortable by him looking.
Seer shifted even more uncomfortably under Jin Yu's gaze, he felt as if his flesh had been peeled away and his soul was laid bare in the open for all to see.
His grip tightened unconsciously on Jin Yu's shoulder.
His finger twitched, resisting the urge to gouge out the eye, the one that seemed to peer straight into his life.
"Enough!" He said grimly.
But Jin Yu did not relent, he kept raising his head, his stare unbroken.
The eye continued thudding in excitement, but that only caused him more pain.
A thin rivulet of blood suddenly slipped from his left eye, trailing down his cheek.
That was the moment Seer lost it.
BAM!
His palm hit Jin Yu square in the chest, sending him flying backwards several meters before crashing into the ruined building.
Seer's brow furrowed in concern as he stared at Jin Yu and for a split moment, guilt flashed across his eyes.
'Cough cough cough'
Jin Yu coughed in the ruins, and grudgingly sat up while covering his bloodied eye.
His long hair draped messily around him as he bowed his head, then he went silent for a long while as if in deep thoughts.
When his hand lowered and his eyes opened, a deep crimson color ghosted across his pupils before vanishing, as if it was never there.

Deep within Jin Yu's chest, the quiet Red thread suddenly thumped with his heartbeat, then went silent again.
On his left eye, the blood trickling down his face froze, then quickly retreated, as if it doesn't dare stay out for another moment, even the ones that stained his hand and cloth disappeared, entering through the pores on his skin.
Seer brow twitched, his eyes subtly narrowed in suspicion, but he said nothing.
Crack crack crack.
Jin Yu cracked his neck and stood up, as nonchalantly as ever. He dusted non-existent dirt from his sleeves before shifting his gaze to Seer.
There was no anger in his eyes, just casual indifference.
He continued dusting his sleeves while staring at Seer.
Seer almost rolled his eyes. "She said you'll both meet during the merge, why are you blaming me?"
Jin Yu stopped.
He looked down, Then a faint smile tugged at his lips, not one of happiness, but a strange smile that didn't match the discussion. He looked back at Seer.
"Oh." was all he said.
"And when is the merge?" He asked.
Seer suddenly got serious.
He looked up at the dust filled sky and replied solemnly. "For countless moon, the merge had always been unchanged through time and space..." He looked at Jin Yu. "...but this moon, it will be like never before."
Jin Yu raised an eyebrow, not catching on.
Seer shook his head. "You don't understand friend, I can feel it, Solenthia will change, extremely...and it isn't a good one." he looked at Jin Yu, his eyes filled with a hint of grief.
"I tried divining it, but...For the first time in my life, my Dao failed me." His head lowered in sorrow.
"I didn't know why....but after meeting you, I finally do" he muttered, raising his head to meet Jin Yu's gaze.
Jin Yu looked on, not reacting a bit, but he was confused, he didn't understand anything Seer was saying.
Seer gave him a long stare before looking into the distance, where the chaotic beasts were running to without end.
A flying insect the size of baby fist suddenly stopped, despite how small it is compared to the rest of the horde, a slight profound aura was emanating from it, akin to a transcendent realm expert.
It turned it's head towards their position, buzzing unceasingly as it flapped it's wings, trying to see the presence it had felt, yet it couldn't see anything.
When it refused to leave and started circling the area, a cold glare from Seer sent it into panic mode, it screeched and flew off in fear.
"Just like I couldn't divine this moon... I couldn't divine you too" he looked back at Jin Yu, his gaze piercing.
He seemed like he wanted to say more but he only continued staring at Jin Yu.
"So?" Jin Yu finally asked.
"So, I hope, whatever part you took in all these, our fate aligns." Seer said, shrugging his shoulders.
Jin Yu tilted his head."If not?"
Seer smiled, his solemn attitude suddenly gone.
"It won't get that bad."
Jin Yu gave him an unimpressed look, unbothered to know more, he said. "You haven't answered my question."
"Soon, it's drawing closer than usual." Seer replied simply.
"Dawnmist City, when will we reach there?" Jin Yu asked.
"Oh, I thought you forgot."
Another unimpressed look.
"Since the Moon is merging faster than usual, we should also move faster, let us use the White Portal at City Of Vled, it is a grade higher than the black orb, travel millions of miles."
Interested, Jin Yu asked. "Where?"
Seer grinned and shifted his mischievous eyes to the distant city in the horizon.
"I realized you might want to clean your mess, I will gladly be your spectator." He gave a theatrical bow.
Jin Yu followed his gaze to the distant City, the one thousands of beasts will soon invade.
"City of Vled." he muttered.
"Right, I should clean my mess." He agreed before adding.
"You must have a teleport orb with you, bring it out, I'm not riding there." He commanded like a king talking to his subject.
Seer mouth formed a perfect O, in utter disbelief. "How dare you be so entitled, I am not your Father!" He exclaimed.
Another unimpressed look. "Yes or no?"
"Wow." Seer eyed him in disbelief before shaking his head. "Forget it, I'm too friendly."
He took out a green orb. "This is mid-grade" Seer explained, seeing Jin Yu staring at it with interest.
"It goes tens of thousands of miles, we'll get there in one move"
Jin Yu nodded in understanding.
Seer then stared at him and smiled teasingly, twirling the orb between his fingers.
What's up with this psychopath. Jin Yu thought and asked. "What?"
Seer smiled even wider. "I know... a Very big secret about you." he stressed the word 'very' as he said smugly.
Jin Yu raised a brow. "which is?"
"You..." Seer pointed a finger at Jin Yu's face, as if he's about to speak an heaven shaking secret. "...are from an alternate realm. It's just too obvious, as if it were plastered on your forehead."
He tapped his own forehead repeatedly as he said with so much Vigor, absolutely excited.
Jin Yu shook his head and gave an helpless sigh.
"I am Not." He also stressed the word 'not'
Seer wasn't deterred, he moved closer to him and whispered. "You. Are."
Jin Yu glared at him, a little angry, he couldn't help but picture a chubby and childish face under Seer's mask. "Believe what you want. Now shut up and get it over with."
"Okay okay, so bitch" Seer said dismissively, as if he no longer care, but he was still eyeing Jin Yu, smirking.
Jin Yu lips twitched. "Bitchy." he corrected.
Seer rolled his eyes. "Yeah, so bitchy."
Jin Yu shook his head. This idiot.
But then he froze when a thought clocked on him.
His eyes narrowed as he turned to look past the distant fallen city walls, exactly where Hei'an, the City Lord had been earlier, but the horde was too dense, he couldn't see that far.
"He left." Seer said, already certain who he was looking for.
Jin Yu looked at him and gave him an unfriendly stare.
"What again?" Seer asked, feigning innocence.
"Where's the Red lady of the Garden of complaint too?" Jin Yu asked coldly, wishing he could bash Seer's face alongside his mask.
Seer gave him a comforting smile and said. "She lied to you, there was no book."
Jin Yu gritted his teeth in both anger and frustration. How did he know that again!
His wish to bash Seer's face got even stronger, but looking at the obviously feigned innocence in Seer's eyes, he lost interest.
"Forget it, I won't argue with an albino." Jin Yu muttered and looked away.
"I won't argue with an albino." Seer mimicked Jin Yu and rolled his eyes.
He looked away and tossed the green orb in the air.
As he watched the orb spin slowly, a faint smirk tugged at his lips, filled with smugness.
This is just the beginning.
Seer thought as his eyes flickered to where Hei'an had been standing.
I will ruin you till you beg for death.
-----
Jin Family Manor.
On a white stone bridge, arched over a pond filled with red-gold and white fishes, a troop of men dressed in black battle suits sat atop sturdy horses rippling with strength.
They were divided into two groups.
Ten in each.
A group to the left had a distinctive reddish-brown emblem on their chest, horse alike. They are the strongest unit of the hundred in Zi(bronze) Rank.
Each and every one of them was brimming with peak Stage of essence core realm, full of life.
The three friends, Yi Sung, Su Min and Wu Jiahong were in this unit.
The second group had Silver emblems shining brightly on their chest, while their stallions had silver sheen fur—The strongest unit of the hundred in Ri(Silver) Rank.
Their aura was overflowing with peak Nascent Soul Realm cultivation, as if they will step into the Transcendent Realm in the next moment, though that moment may take a hundred years or even their entire lifetime.
If one look at each and every one of their emblems well, one would see the etching of a Dragon and Sunburst on them.
At the very front of these men, was a young looking man in his early thirties, his posture was firm yet relaxed. Merely sitting atop his black horse, he exudes a quiet authority.
Surprisingly, this man does not have an emblem. Yet the twenty men behind him
He is Chen Haoran.
Just a single one of these men is enough to plunge the mortal land in chaos, talk more of ten, for the Jin Family to have at least a hundred of peak Nascent Soul Realm cultivators, it is already considered a second-tier clan.
Second tier may sound low, but even the lowest grade of the second tier is ten times powerful than a third tier clan or sect.
Talk more of the Jin clan that is a First-tier clan, such clan must have at least one divine realm expert and as low as ten transcendent realm experts.
But since no one is bold enough to explore the depth of an abyss, no one knows the true strength of the Jin clan.
Both men and women, young and old watched these men with mixed emotions, whispers rang out continuously.
??? : Who are the unfortunate ones this time?
???: Who cares, I just want to join the dark army.
???: Who? You?, With your measly strength, you don't even cut the lowest unit!.
???: This is the second time Chen Haoran is leading the army.
???: I heard he made some waves in the last battle.
???: Load of shit!, What wave could an essence core realm possibly make?"
???: It seems you want your head to roll!.
Ignoring the unceasing voices, a round, black object appeared on Chen Haoran's palm, pulsing faintly with power.
He tossed it a few meters away, but instead of falling, it hovered midair, spinning slowly.
Just a moment before the black orb fracture and open a portal.
Shrinnnnng!
A short, dark blade flew through the air, so short it looked like a toy.
Crack!
It lodged firmly into the black orb, splintering it on impact.
Instantly, the orb disintegrated into black dust, scattering in the air.
'Ah?!'
'What?!'
Gasps filled the air.
Though the men didn't utter a word, their expression changed, Auras merging instantly into one and spreading out like a tsunami, pressing down on everything around them, searching for the culprit.
Shring.
The short blade flew back to the owner and then everyone's eyes widened in surprise.
The warriors instantly retracted their Aura in shock.
Even Chen Haoran was astonished.
"Young mistress?"
He questioned, confused.
