  Chapter 36. The Hidden Power

Beligor collapsed to the ground, his body convulsing in pain. The black arrow lodged in his chest pulsed with sinister energy, preventing the wound from closing.

  — Why?.. — she whispered, desperation reflected in her mismatched eyes.

Beligor parted his lips, but before he could utter a word, the air was once again split by a piercing whistle—another arrow was flying toward them.

The half-blood turned, her heart freezing. She had no time to dodge, no way to shield herself.

  And then it happened.

A strange radiance flared around her—not light, not darkness, but something in between. Time seemed to slow, and the arrow halted midair before shattering into countless fragments.

Leonel stood frozen, unable to believe his eyes.

  — How?.. — he asked, staring at the girl in shock.

She turned to him, her shoulders trembling.

  — I… I don’t know…

At that moment, an enraged roar echoed through the battlefield—the servants of the Dark Lord realized that before them stood not just a half-blood, but something far more dangerous.
