After countless days of trial and error, I finally unlocked the secrets of combining different skills and mana usages. It was a thrilling journey of deduction, formution, and creation. One of my most exciting discoveries was the ability to create a floating ptform, which allowed me to effortlessly drift through the air or unch myself across vast distances in an instant. I named this incredible combination the "Soul Board."
However, its mana costs were substantial, making it impractical for everyday transportation. It became my emergency ace, reserved for those critical moments when I needed to reach a destination swiftly.
As for the drills and exploding drills, I named them Soul Piercers and Detonation Piercers, respectively.
In addition, and through my experiments, I also deduced the following:
I could summon Soul Piercers up to five times and split them into five separate entities, astonishingly without expending any mana. This meant I could summon them a total of twenty-five times.
Unfortunately, and sadly, I could only summon four Detonation Piercers.
The mental and mana strain of combining three skills simultaneously made it a formidable task. Nevertheless, their power justified the limitation.
I attempted to replicate them as I did with Soul Piercers, but my efforts proved futile. Perhaps the combination of three skills or their sheer potency prevented successful replication. So, for now, it’s replication would have to wait for the future.
Also, with the help of my calcutions and Eve's guidance, I managed to estimate my mana pool and the cost of each skill per usage. Here they are in a tabuted format:
Soul Armament
1 MP per minute if constantly used in armor or weapon mode. 1 MP if used once in Soul Pierces or Detonation Piercers. Costs may vary.
Soul Bolt Barrage
0.5 MP per bolt, up to a maximum of 2 MP per bolt.
Soul Barrier
The cost depends on the strength of the barrier. However, for Soul Piercers and Detonation Piercers, it is 2 MP per barrier. Costs may vary.
Soul Burst Wave
15 MP per Burst Wave.
Total estimated amount of MP in my body
120 MP
Soul Piercers
20 MP per activation of skills
Detonation Piercers
25 MP per activation of skills
As for mana, and in addition to the previous mana uses, such as enhancing strength, speed, endurance, malleability, regeneration, and responsiveness, as well as the skin change caused by 'Diamorph,' zoom vision, thermal scan, night vision, mana sense, and the sixth sense or danger sense, I can now utilize the following abilities:
Mana Bst: I can gather raw mana and release it in a concentrated burst, creating a potent energy projectile that can be hurled at enemies. The size, speed, and destructive force of the mana bst depend on my mana control, proficiency, and quantity. I can also employ it in battle as a unching power, adding to my speed enhancement. Note: It is slightly less potent than Detonation Piercer but equally effective.Mana Beam: Simir to a mana bst, I can focus and shape raw mana into a concentrated beam of energy. This beam can slice through objects, penetrate defenses, or target specific enemies with precision. Note: It is slightly less potent than Soul Piercer but equally effective.Mana Chains: I possess the ability to manipute raw mana, fashioning it into chains or tendrils that can bind or restrain enemies. These mana chains restrict movement, immobilize opponents, or even drain their energy.Mana Disruption: As Eve expined, I can disrupt the mana flow of opponents, temporarily disabling their magical abilities or weakening their defenses.
Now, brace yourself for the unsettling news. Despite my countless creations and meticulous formutions, an unsettling feeling of incongruity persisted. It was as if something crucial was missing from my skills, causing my activation time to suffer. Even my attempts to instantaneously summon "Soul Piercers," "Detonation Piercers," or even unleash "Soul Board" were met with failure. I had to painstakingly repeat the steps from the very beginning, a fatal fw in the heat of combat.
Desperate to find a solution, I turned to Eve, my ever-reliable companion. But to my dismay, even she couldn't unearth an answer. So, I resorted to my tried-and-true method of tackling insurmountable skill and mana-reted problems—meditation.
However, this time, I approached it with a twist. Instead of channeling mana and chi as I had done in the past, I chose to do nothing. I delved deeper into the recesses of my subconscious, seeking answers hidden within.
As time slipped away, I felt myself sinking further and further into the depths of my subconscious. With each passing moment, the world around me lost its vibrant hues, the cmor of noises faded into silence, and even the faintest glimmers of light vanished. All that remained was the rhythmic cadence of my heartbeat and the steady rhythm of my breath.
In the midst of this surreal state, time seemed to stretch on endlessly, as if caught in a timeless abyss. But then, in a sudden twist of fate, everything shifted. I found myself standing in a vast expanse, a room so white and expansive that it defied the boundaries of perception. With each step I took, the sea of white stretched out endlessly before me, engulfing my vision in its pristine emptiness.
As I stood there, questions swirled within my mind, echoing through the enigmatic space. Where was I? What secrets y hidden in this mysterious realm? And why was white the only color that enveloped my senses, leaving me with an eerie sense of solitude?
In a desperate attempt to find answers, I called out to Eve, hoping that she could hear me. To my surprise, her voice echoed back, a faint but reassuring presence in this vast emptiness. Gathering my courage, I asked her, "Eve, do you have any idea where I am?"
With a hint of wisdom in her voice, she replied, "I may have an inkling, young master. From the depths of your memories and from the data that was imprinted into your mind when you awakened, I can infer that you have entered what practitioners refer to as the 'Soul Realm'."
"Soul realm?" I repeated, my curiosity piqued.
