Part-379

  Part- 379:

“You think I’ll walk right into that, huh? Cute,” he muttered, already anticipating the move. “Get ready to miss, little goblin.”

He dropped low just as he turhe er, feeling the rush of air as the arrow flew harmlessly overhead. Before the goblin could eve, James was on it, sword sshing in a , effit motion. The goblin fell, a small victory in the ongoing grind. James didn't pause; there were more challenges ahead.

With every goblin that fell, every trap that was avoided, his fidence grew. He khe hardest part was yet to e. The air was thiow, charged with an almost palpable tension. The hobgoblirue threat of the *Final Se*—was near, and James could feel its presen the air, heavy and predatory. The goblins had grown bolder, more coordinated, as if they were holding him off, buying time for their leader to prepare.

“Well, if they think they stall me, they’re in for a rude awakening,” he muttered, pressing forward, uerred. The final doorway loomed ahead, dark and foreboding, but he felt ation. He was ready.

“Let’s see what you’ve got,” James said under his breath, stepping toward the threshold, his sword held high. "I’ve been waiting for this."

As James rouhe narrow er of the dungeon, a sharp whistling sound sliced through the air. He had only a split sed to react as an arrow came hurtling down from above, aimed directly at him. This time, his instincts took over, heightened by his newly refined Fht skill. With the ease that came from tless hours of training, he rolled forward, narrowly dodging the arrow’s lethal path. He felt its sharp edge graze his shoulder, just enough to tear the fabric of his shirt but missing any critical area. The adrenaline surged, sharpening his senses, and as he stood, he spotted the goblin archer’s perch high on a ledge above.

Without hesitation, he made a break for the rocky ledge, charging with speed that felt almost inhuman. Every step he took, every muscle he moved, felt aligned in perfect synicity with the dungeon’s eerie rhythm. As he he ledge, he crouched low, then unched himself upward in a single, powerful leap, ndihe archer’s hiding pce. The goblin archer barely had a ce to react before James closed the distance, bringing his wooden sword down in a swift, decisive strike. The goblin’s body colpsed, dissolving into wisps of dark mist, leaving behind nothing but silence.

He barely had a moment to catch his breath before he sensed more movement in the shadows. His Fht skill flickered briefly, alerting him to the presence of anroup of goblins. This time, they were advang with crude ons raised, their jagged teeth bared in sneers. His breathing slowed as he steadied himself, prepared for the ambush. It wasn’t just the onry or hat made goblins dangerous; it was their feral ing, the way they watched for weaknesses and struck from blind spots.
