Part-409

  Part- 409:

Still, he was cautious. "Basketball, huh?" James muttered, tapping his thoughtfully. The idea of joining a new club was a bit intimidating. But maybe it wouldn’t hurt to try something new. He g the two students — the boy seemed to have an eager gleam in his eyes, while the girl’s expression was all hope. "Alright, I’ll join," James said with a shrug, deg to go with it, "But just so you know, I know nothing about basketball."

The boy’s face lit up at the acceptance. “No problem!” he said quickly, his grin wide. “You’ve got the height for it. You’re already halfway there!”

The girl chuckled, amused by the overly simplistic logic. “Right. Just stand there aall. Got it?”

His sarcasm was met with ughter from the girl. She grinned, her voice bubbling with energy. "You’ll figure it out! For now, just stand in front of the court and defend. Basketball’s all about teamwork, and you’ll learn the rest as we go. We teach you everything you o know."

Standing tall had always e naturally to James, so the idea of simply being in the right pce at the right time didn’t sound too hard. Besides, his previous experiences in sports had always shown him that his quick reflexes and sharp mind could adapt well to hings. If basketball was anything like other team sports, he could ha.

As they began to talk about the logistics of joining the team, James felt a sense of camaraderie begin to form. The casual exge of words, the easy fideh which Kiyoshi spoke, and the uing positivity from Tahera all helped ease James’ apprehension. This was different from the pressure of Judo practices, where every move ted and every mistake felt like a failure. Basketball, it seemed, was more about pying with others, w as a team, and maybe having a bit of fun while doing it. The idea didn’t sound too bad.

“Alright then,” James said, smiling slightly. “I’ll give it a shot. Maybe it’ll be good for me to do something different. Who knows, I might evehe hang of it.” He chuckled at the thought. His first day in Judo had been a mess, but over time, he had learo pick up oeiques. Maybe basketball wouldn’t be so different.

As they made their way toward the gym for the first practice session, James found himself feeling oddly excited. He hadn’t realized how much he missed the idea of being part of a team, something that wasn’t tied to academics hting. This would be a way to escape the intense mental focus that had ed him tely, and it was a wele ge. The sense of anticipation bubbled in his chest as he walked alongside Kiyoshi and Tahera, ready for whatever came .
