As Chris finished purifying the Samanders and used his powers to grab them with a hand made of light and move them away, the giant two-headed draister emerged from the volo, destroying everything in its wake.
“ROOOAAARRR!”
Both heads roared at the same time as fmes and va came out of their jaws, reag the skies and then beginning to rapidly fall from above as small, bzieors.
“Chris! It’s going to burn down the forest with those! You have to stop them!”
“What?! I have to?!”
“Or do you want all the people you saved to die?”
“Okay, fine! Fine!”
Chris absorbed all the Ara he could, and with his Heavenly Ki already refilled thanks to his good deeds towards the Samanders after healing them, he bined his archery teiques and magic together once more.
“I have to aim at all of them, right?!” he asked angrily. “I simply have to make them… homing projectiles that fly super-fast!”
His imagination fred as, bined with his magid his skill activation, his bow grew to an enormous size as dozens of arrows were fired at once.
“{Silver & Golden Moonlight Archery Arts}: {Homing Silver Gold Arrows}!”
The arrows were made of silver and golden light, as they had little wings at their ends, flying towards the fallieor-like projectiles.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The arrows impacted the falling, bzing boulders made of still hot magma as they exploded into tiny rocks, l the amount of damage they could deal to the forest as much as possible.
“GRRRHHH…!”
Chris heard the monster’s groan as the Heavenly Emperor instantly screamed to him.
“MOVE DOWN!”
In that sed, Chris moved down, the two-headed dragon firing a double breath of fmes right where he was a sed ago.
BOOOM!
“Shoot him while you fall!”
“Ok!”
Chris fully focused, realizing this was the climax of the erial. He instantly poihe bow he had created using his bined spells, teiques, and skills, and then… multiplied it.
“As long as I’m close to this spirit forest, my Ara will restore quickly; I’ll go all-out!”
FLASH! FLASH! FLASH! FLASH!
The giant bow made of silver and golden light, which looked majestic as if it were a divine on, was divided by the maximum output Chris could handle.
Four!
“{Silver & Golden Moonlight Archery Arts}: {Mercury Star Rain}!”
Using the same teique when fighting the Samanders, Chris went for quantity over quality this time, a specific art made to se miasma and darkness from a foe.
Because he could immediately tell this two-headed creature wasn’t normal, the strange core on its chest looked unnaturally attached to the monster, spreading dark miasmic mold through its body.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Uhe Guardian of the Lake though, the two-headed draic beast was strong enough to still be alive; however, it had long ago succumbed to the devilish core’s powers, as had the rest of the Samanders.
“SHYEEEEEGGHH!”
The monster screamed as tless explosions engulfed its body; the silver and golden moonlight was stantly burning its scales and dealing damage to any ied area, making it angrier.
“RAAAARRRGGH!”
RUMBLE!
With a furious roar, the monster’s body unleashed a massive crimson aura as its muscles suddenly bulged and so did its tail.
“It’s going to jump! Fly dowo the floor!”
“Uwaaah!”
Chris rapidly ged his trajectory as he bihe light of his magic with his wings, creating angeligs made of golden and silver moonlight.
Using them, he rushed down at lightning speed, evading the massive creature, leaping like a frog into the skies!
CRUUUNCH!
Its two giant jaws snapped, almost eating him alive!
However, Chris mao fall to the ground.
But!
“Not good! Defend!”
As he fell, and as the monster reached the skies, the two-headed creature spun its massive body downwards, using its massively long tail as a titanic whip to crush Chris with it!
As he was falling, Chris was simply uo avoid this blow now, so the Heavenly Emperor went for the sed-best option.
To defend!
“Don’t fuck with me!”
Chris panicked; all five bows merged together into a gigantic shield of silver and golden light with the head entia’s evolved form on its front.
It was if, whehought about his Familiar, his Light Embodiment transformed, taking upon its form, but as the shield, Chris thought Argentia was for him.
CRAAASH!
The attack hit the shield with immense force, pushing Chris and the shield down into the ground, making it tremble as gigantic cracks spread through the floor.
BOOOM!
“Aaggh…!”
Chris didn’t die, but he felt his spine snap, and his lungs burst, vomiting blood and feeling like he couldn’t breathe anymore.
“Heal quickly!”
The Heavenly Emperor told Chris, as Chris rapidly activated a pre-saved spell imbued into his body as a rune, something he had done just in case some shit like this happened.
FLASH!
The light healed his body just in time before the monster’s body were to crush him and ftten his entire body like a bug.
BAAAMMM!!!
RUMBLE!
Chris eyes grew more and more serious, glowing bright red as he spit two of his teeth and a bunch of floods, furrowing his eyebrows.
“Fug lizard, you’re moving so dexterously despite being a damn kaiju!”
He was furious.
“{Argentia’s Shield: Release}!”
With all his might, the Shield he created, a Magical, Spiritual, and Martial struct, opes jaws after it was about to break apart.
All the damage it had accumuted was released as a massive dragoh right in front of the two-headed menace’s face.
“GRAARGH?!”
The beam of golden and silver moonlight fmes engulfed the two-headed draister, blowing a hole between both of the necks as blood spttered everywhere.
BOOOMMM!!!
“G-Graaarrggh!”
“Gruoooggh…!”
The monster screamed in agony, bleeding stantly as it gred at Chris with fury. The core was right beh the hole his attack had blown through; it had gained some cracks, but it had yet to be destroyed.
“Bastard, you’re still not dead?!” Chris angrily said.
“Wait, Chris, that beast is probably something simir to a guardian!” said the Heavenly Emperor. “I wouldn’t reend killing it! Destroy the core on its chest now that it has bee weaker due to the wound!”
“Are you serious?!” Chris asked angrily. “I… Well, fine! I’ll give it a try!”
Chris was about to reject the offer, but after everything the Heavenly Emperor had done for him, he couldn’t help but end up agreeing to his little request.
For now.
He rushed towards the monster, its wound slowly beginning tee on its own, but the damage it took was still massive.
“If that shield carried a part entia’s breath attack, it means that whatever I did to make it possible, I do it again for other things!” he thought. “Like if I think about Paul… or Vd? I …! There!”
FLUOSH!
Suddenly, the silver and golden light enpassed Chris pletely as most of his tiny body was enpassed on a huge armor, simir to the magic, tough armor Vd was always wearing.
In fact, it was very simir to it but made of silver and golden light instead!
“Impressive… To think you’ve reached a level of Light Embodiment and Materialization to the point you imprint powers based on the memories of those you hold dear… Incredible! It took me a long time to do it myself, but you’re doing it already?!”
The Heavenly Emperor couldn’t hide his joy aement after seeing Chris wearing massive armor and then rush towards the beast.
The beast was too wouo fire its breath again, but it quickly charged against Chris, juring fireballs against him, which Chris tanked with his armor.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The fmes accumuted over his body, stantly explosions aiming to destroy the armor, which had bee the hardest barrier Chris had made, based on Vd’s super armor.
“I am not falling today!”
Chris reached the monster, summoning a giant bde made of light using his magic, imitating Vd’s magic sword, and swinging it down, upwards, vertically, and horizontally.
“I fug suck at this, but still, it’s just magic!”
SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!
Several sshing attacks reached the monster’s chest as the creature groaned, swinging its massive arms against Chris while the core attached to its chest gained more cracks.
CRAASH!
Chris barely evaded the attack by rolling and then leaped into the skies, flying with his demonigs and then desding towards the monster’s chest.
“Let me just crack that damn jewel already!”
His armor transformed. As his body was finally exposed, both cws reached him, aiming to crush him, but in that moment, the armor turned into the bow from before.
And fired a gigantic arrow towards the monster’s chest!
TRUUUM!
“GRAARGH?!”
The monster panicked, uo crush Chris; it moved its arms and intercepted the bow. An explosion blew up the monster’s left cw, but it saved it!
“Shit…!”
Chris panicked, juring a smaller version entia’s Shield and then being pushed down by the monster’s intact cw.
BAAAM!
As he colpsed into the ground with one of his arms and legs broken, he saw the monster smile, opening its jaws to fire another breath now that it was almost recovered.
“Haaahh… I knew you would do that; remember the sword?”
CRAAASH!
Suddenly, the sound of something pierg a crystal echoed through the forest. The monster’s heads g its chest; the miasmic core had been pierced, its miasmic mold leaking out, and then it was rapidly purified by the light of the sword made with magid spirit energy.
“{Holy Bde Burst}!”
With a cocky smile, Chris raised his index finger as the sword exploded, blowing away the miasmic core into pieces!
BOOOM!
The aberrant monster screamed in agony, all of its power dissipating as the light began to rapidly purify its darkness.
“GRYYYAARRGGHHH!”
The miasmic mold trolling it began to burn, about to disappear as Chris saw the monster lose sciousness, falling to the floor.
BAAAM!
“We did it!” Chris celebrated.
A…
“GRUOOOHHH!”
The remaining mass of mold and miasma remained, rapidly f into some sort of aberrant creature made of bck goo.
“It must be the thing ihe core!” said the Heavenly Emperor. “Purify it! We’ve ge, and you have just enough energy!”
“SHYAAARRGGH!”
The monstrosity opes gigantic jaws, about to swallow Chris, yet Chris nodded as he quickly unleashed his st teique.
“{Heaven’s Repulsion}”
FLAAASH!
A massive ray of golden and white light desded from the skies out of nowhere, impag the monster and pletely burning it, turning it into ashes in the process as it exploded!
BOOOMMM!!!
As Chris saw the creature’s entire body disappear into ashes, he sighed in relief, falling to the cold floor while groaning.
“Haaahh… Fuck… That was too much… What the hell is wrong with this trial?”
He smiled lightly though, as a new system message made him realize the annoying trial was finally over.
Ding!
