Chapter 55: The Inn's Unusual Happenings

  Ji Xin'an had just walked past Bao Ge's side with a strong pretence of calmness, but as soon as he stepped out of the PUB, he rushed to the roadside, stuck his fingers in his mouth and pressed his throat, and a wave of nausea caused him to vomit out more than half of the wine he had just drunk.

  Yao Wenhao chased after her and gently patted her back.

  "I'm fine, just thirsty, looking for some water to drink." Ji Xin'an laughed at his tense appearance.

  "You lie down for a while, I'll go get you some water." Yao Wenhao gently helped her sit back on the bed.

  "I'm just drunk, I'm not sick, you don't have to be so careful." Ji Xin'an said, but still lay back down on the bed.

  Yu Yao heard someone speaking and woke up too, "Ji Xin'an, you're awake, are you feeling better?"

  "I'm fine, how's your injury?" Facing her concern, Ji Xin'an smiled slightly.

  "It's nothing, just a flesh wound." Yu Yao also smiled and saw that Ji Xin'an was fine, so she didn't get up. She changed to a more comfortable position on the sofa and continued lying down.

  "Here you are, drink it quickly." Yao Wenhao poured a cup of warm water and handed it over.

  "Brother, I want a drink of water too." Yu Yao smiled as she looked at them.

  "Go die yourself." Yao Wen Hao said with a bad temper, seeing her teasing eyes.

  "You're biased, you just got a sister-in-law and forgot about your own sister." Yu Yao pouted her mouth unhappily at him.

  Ji Xin'an couldn't help but laugh, and she had never thought that Yu Yao would have such a side to her. Yu Yao probably also realized that she was acting coquettishly in front of Ji Xin'an's brother, and her face turned slightly red.
