"Um, where will you take me, Master?" Vanessa asked curiously.

  In the m, Alex asked Vaessa to get ready as they were going on a trip.

  Vanessa was very excited and looking forward to it. She packed a few stuff before returning to his room.

  Alex smiled and ed his arm around her waist. "You believe in me?"

  "Yes, Master~" Vanessa nodded her head.

  "Then close your eyes,"

  Vanessa didn't ask why since she thought Alex wao be intimate with her.

  Alex smiled and darkness spread out from under his feet, c both him and Vanessa. Both of their figures submerged into the shadow beh Alex's feet.

  Vanessa had a feeling of free fall like she was falling nonstop from somewhere but Alex's presence beside her gave her ce and fidence. She had a feeling in her heart that as long as Alex was beside her, nothing would happen to her at all.

  The feeling stopped after two minutes and she heard Alex's voice.

  "We're here. Now, open your eyes."

  Vanessa slowly opened her eyes and looked ahead, only to be shocked. She tensed up and grabbed Alex's arm in panic, slightly scared.

  Alex smiled and put a hand on her shoulder, rubbing it to reassure her.

  The duo had arrived in a rge hall with dirty white walls and dark halls leading to who knows where. There were multiple heads of animals decorating the walls of this pce with a rge broet c the floor.

  But what scared Vanessa was the presence of a woman.

  A woman in her early thirties was sitting on a throaring at them. She was tall and had a slim build along with pink hair, which ulled up under her hat, and teal eyes. Beh both of her eyes were three dark blue teardrops. Her lips were the same shade of blue. Her nails were long and sharp and had the same color.

  She was wearing a light green, yered dress with each yer of the skirt having a rge red eyespot. The bodice had a high ned long sleeves. The skirt fred out inte hoop. She was also wearing a white ical hat with a wide brim. It had the same yered look as her dress but cked the eyespots.

  Additionally, the bck feather hat band had a dark red flower in front and a colle of multicolored jewels on her left side. From her left ear hung a purple magic stone, and from her neckce hung three bck feathers.

  "It's You!!" The woman saw Vanessa and shouted out coldly.

  Vanessa was startled, shivering in her arms. She had a history with the woman and a very painful one on that.

  Alex hugged Vanessa's waist and raised his eyebrow. "You seem to have some problem with my girl, huh Witch Queen?"

  Yep, the woman was the Witch Queen, the mother of all Witches, and the ruler of the Witch Forest.

  "And you're..." Witch Queen's facial expression crumbled down, repced with a slightly scared expression. She asked, "Why are you here again?"

  Alex grinned and shrugged his shoulders. "Well, I'm here to help my girl solve the knot in her heart."

  "Yirl?" Witch Queen was intrigued by his words and turo Vanessa, her eyes dang in joy. "Did you both...?

  Vanessa was surprised by the versatioween Alex and Witch Queen, realizing that they knew each other. It left her dumbfounded sihe way they talked it was clear that Witch Queen was careful of Alex.

  'That cold and cruel woman is actually scared of Asta! Just... what's going on?'

  Whech Queen asked her, Vanessa nodded her head.

  Instantly, the Witch Queen's face was filled with joy as if she had received a piece of great news. She stood up from her seat and arrived in front of Vanessa, patting her shoulder.

  "Not bad. For the first time in your life, you've done something worthwhile. Now, be a good girl and have a baby with him quickly. I'll take care of that child and raise it well."

  "Hey, hey, hey, are y to piss me off by saying that? And here I thought you had ged..." Alex grumbled in annoyance. He couldn't help but get irritated by her shitty personality.

  Witch Queen turned her head towards him and replied. "Don't worry. I'll treat the kid with care. I still don't want to die yet."

  Alex stared at her and nodded his head.

  Vanessa was so shocked that she was just listening to their talks dumbly, not uanding what was happening at all.

  Alex realized her messy thoughts and smiled. "I actually came here two years ag the time when I was a merary."

  "You was a merary?" Vanessa asked, surprised again. She had never associated him with a job like that.

  Alex shrugged his shoulders. "Well, I've to put food oable. After all, I'm the eldest in the church."

  Witch Queen put a hand on her mouth and smiled. "He is much more than just a merary."

  "What do you mean...?" Vanessa tilted her head at Witch Queen's ent.

  The Witch Queen giggled, much different from her usual cold demeanor. Her eyes were dang mischievously.

  "Your man here has repeatedly caused trouble in the four kingdoms i three years. Maybe you're familiar with the name, Lupin..."

  "The legendary thief?..." Vanessa's eyes widened in shod she abruptly turned her head at Alex. "Don't tell me...?"

  "Yep. I'm Lupin!" Alex admitted it with a grin.

  Vanessa was still thinking that Witch Queen was just messing with her but for him to admit it so easily, it proved that it was the truth.

  "Oh my, now that's something iing that I learoday..."

  While the trio were chatting, three more people appeared in the pace hall. It was one man and two beautiful women.

  The guy was a man of average height with a slim figure and well-defined muscle tone. He had medium-length messy red hair, blue eyes, and a stubbled beard. His attire sisted of a white long-sleeved shirt, blue pants, brown boots, and a green coat.

  The woman to his right was a slender woman with fair skin and e hair tied in a knot by a blue hat. She wears a long-sleeved dark violet dress with a brow and cloak over her shoulders.

  And the st one was a fair-skinned young girl with a voluptuous figure. She had pink eyes and short bck hair.

  "Do you guys have taken my pce as your backyard?" The Witch Queen asked coldly. She was annoyed by more and more people entering her kingdom.
