Chapter 19: Operation Goryeo 3

  Chapter 19: Operation Goryeo 3

  Section 1

In the most luxurious suite of North Korea's hotel, Da Bing, Qian Mian and Lan Ya held a brief meeting. The superior attended the meeting via video call.

Ninja, monk, and mountain artillery have gone missing one after another, trapped in a concentration camp of the North Korean military. The North Korean nuclear experiment is ongoing, and they already possess biochemical weapons units, missile units, and are always on the verge of launching. This time, the ninja's disappearance may be related to the nuclear experiment and nuclear weapons. North Korea appears to be following the six-party talks agreement on the surface but is secretly preparing for war. The conservative faction advocates for developing the economy and people's livelihoods first, letting the North Korean people eat meat and drink soup before taking advantage of the situation to go to war and unify Korea. The radical faction advocates that under the leadership of the great Kim Il-sung and Kim Jong-il's invincible Juche ideology, the North Korean people will be unbeatable and win every battle. As long as the Kim dynasty still rules North Korea, a war is inevitable, and the situation in Northeast Asia is worrying. The superior instruction is not to interfere with internal affairs of other countries, only rescue the company's special advisor, collect intelligence, although North Korea is a hot potato, China cannot afford to let it go. As for the crime problem, the border will increase its crackdown efforts but will not take cross-border actions. During the rescue process, we must be careful and cautious, once there is a problem, it has nothing to do with our company or China.

North Korea's technology is extremely underdeveloped, the North Korean government controls all media and networks, people are not allowed to use any products that can connect to international networks, foreigners are also strictly restricted, digital products must be used in a designated environment. Foreigners cannot take pictures at will, nor can they spread any information to North Koreans. Mobile phones and internet, surveillance equipment are scarce, with the help of Qianmian, Trojan horses were installed on the computer system of the North Korean military department, various intelligence sources flowed continuously, except for the three special advisors' messages. The general sent an inquiry about the disappearance of the aid group's personnel through the military attaché of the Chinese embassy to the North Korean government, urging them to investigate and find them. North Korea immediately issued an order, and the police launched an operation. But they cannot go to the concentration camp to search, because there are only defectors, reactionaries, criminals, the top leaders and military of North Korea have extremely unified opinions, people in the concentration camp have only one way - death.

After various investigations and analyses, the final conclusion of the Yutong investigation team was that the ninjas, monks, and mountain cannons could only be imprisoned in one place if they were not killed - Beidaoxing Concentration Camp, the most terrifying prison in the world. There are only two types of people who enter the concentration camp, prisoners and soldiers, and there are also only two types of people who come out, dead men and soldiers. Even if someone really escaped, they would become soulless walking corpses.

  Section 2

Li Wei's concentration camp was North Korea's No. 7 Concentration Camp, the most secretive and terrifying of all camps, as it held mostly political prisoners and so-called reactionaries from North Korea, along with their descendants for three generations. Monk got caught by ninjas while participating in a reactionary rally, he didn't expect company people to show up that quickly. He could only sneak into No. 7 Concentration Camp with Li Wei.

In the dead of night, the monk arrived at the heavily guarded No. 1 prison cell, evading the guards and climbing onto the roof. He pried open the thatched roof and found a solid wooden board underneath, from which he managed to pull out an iron nail. He carefully removed two planks, revealing only a few North Korean soldiers resting inside. A staircase led down to the basement, but the monk realized it would be impossible to sneak in undetected. Taking out the soldiers would be easy, but it would certainly expose him, and if the ninja wasn't there, the rescue mission would fail. He quickly covered up the roof with thatch and jumped down, heading to two other prison cells guarded by soldiers. Finding them all identical, he returned to the hut to confer with Shan Pao.

The monk and Li Wei lay on the thatched roof, whispering to each other. The monk told Li Wei about the situation in the three prisons, worrying about how to enter the underground cell inside the prison. Li Wei said:

"If Qian Mian is here, it's easy, can't we get something to make people sleep very well?"

"If I couldn't get them, it would be better if I could just sneak up on them and knock them out."

"Otherwise, next time we'll get a rope and go out together, I'll let you down?"

"Your kung fu skills are still not up to par, taking you out is equivalent to looking for death."

"I was also trained in the Marine Corps, but I've become a waste here with you."

"What a pity that you've only been training for a month. Some things can't be taken shortcuts. Let's first find out what these cells are used for!"

For a long time, Monk and Li Wei secretly observed and investigated the three prison cells. The people here were extremely timid and rarely spoke to each other, fearing being shot for gathering crimes. They recited dozens of taboos fluently. After collecting information for a long time, Monk and Li Wei finally gathered some details. Monk named the three prison cells A, B, and C. Prison cell A was where political prisoners of all ages were sent but never returned, earning it the nickname "Ghost House". Prison cell B frequently had high-ranking military officers entering and exiting. Prison cell C was the most mysterious, with very few people entering, like a tomb. Monk and Li Wei collected and manufactured various tools that could be used, hiding them on their bodies, waiting to find out where the ninja was hiding.

Everyone here wants to get out of the prison, but no one takes action. The monk and Li Wei have discussed it, when they escape, they must knock down all the guards and lead everyone out of the cage. Whether day or night, wherever, the monk has been training Li Wei's kung fu, internal and external cultivation, Li Wei's kung fu is making rapid progress, making the monk sigh in amazement. The monk is already a martial arts prodigy, but compared to Li Wei's learning speed, it's like a tortoise racing a rabbit. The monk has nothing left to teach Li Wei, thinking that he will take Li Wei to see his master later, who loves martial arts prodigies the most.

  Section 3

That night, the monk and Li Wei decided to sneak into Prison A. The two of them moved in perfect sync, their movements swift and agile as they navigated through the darkness. Li Wei followed closely behind the monk, gradually approaching Prison A, evading the guards stationed outside, climbing onto the roof, lifting up the thatched roof and removing the wooden boards. The monk handed one end of the rope tied around his waist to Li Wei, who lowered him down silently as the soldiers below slept soundly. The monk landed softly on the ground, signaling Li Wei to pull back the rope. The monk walked over to each North Korean soldier, lightly tapping the back of their necks before beckoning Li Wei to come down. Li Wei jumped down swiftly and quietly, and the two of them made their way towards the stairs. After walking for over 10 meters, they reached the end of the stairs, which led to a changing room with gas masks and hazmat suits hanging on the walls. The monk and Li Wei exchanged a glance, sensing something was off - could it be that there were chemical weapons here? The monk instructed Li Wei to keep watch while he put on the mask and suit, continuing further inside. The corridors were lined with small rooms, each door labeled with the type of weapon, experiment number, nationality, age, weight, physical condition, and experiment time. The more the monk saw, the more shocked he became, cold sweat dripping down his face. There were old people, women, children, North Koreans, South Koreans, Chinese, Japanese, and Americans - all sorts of people, and all sorts of chemical weapons that international conventions prohibited. There was no sign of ninjas here, even if there were, they would be dead for sure. The monk retreated quietly, and Li Wei asked him if the ninjas were inside. The monk didn't respond, quickly removing his suit and checking to make sure he left no traces behind before leaving the underground room with Li Wei. The North Korean soldiers above were still fast asleep. The monk stood up straight, gesturing to Li Wei, who jumped over in a few swift strides. The monk supported him with both hands, and Li Wei leaped up, pulling down the rope and hauling the monk up. Then, the two of them went to Prison B, easily entering through the roof and disabling the North Korean soldiers by pressing their acupressure points. After descending the stairs, they found that this was indeed a real prison, equipped with all sorts of torture devices. The monk and Li Wei checked each cell door, finally finding the ninja. The monk took out an iron needle and quickly picked open the lock on the cell door. Li Wei poured some stolen vegetable oil onto the hinges, quietly opening the creaky door. The ninja opened his eyes, sat up, and the monk signaled him to remain silent. The monk and Li Wei approached the ninja, removing the heavy chains from his wrists and ankles before whispering...

"We've come to rescue you, how are your injuries? Can you walk?"

"I can barely move, but I've lost all my ninja skills and martial arts abilities. It's going to be tough for the two of you to get me out of this concentration camp."

"Today's time is really not enough, tomorrow we two will rescue you out, then create chaos, let the people here rush out with us, I and Shanpao will take advantage of the chaos to escape with you, it should be absolutely safe."

"A fanatic member of the North Korean military's hardline faction smuggled a nuclear warhead, and I discovered it and removed one component from it and hid it. But I was caught and heavily surrounded, and every day they torture me severely. The North Koreans can't make this precise component, so as long as I don't speak, they can't kill me. The warhead is right here in this concentration camp."

"Nuclear warhead!" Li Wei was shocked.

"Time is of the essence, Mountain Cannon and I will create a mass prison break tonight and blow this purgatory to smithereens."

"It's terrifying if nuclear warheads fall into the hands of warmongers. If there is any mishap, the country's borders will definitely be in danger."

"Then destroy the nuclear warhead together." Li Wei said fiercely.

"Alright, don't worry, Ninja. I'll take care of the North Korean soldiers at the concentration camp and stage a prison break. It won't affect either the company or the country. Here, take this iron needle, Mountain Artillery. Let's get out of here quickly!"

They quietly exited cell B and re-entered cell C, where they indeed found the nuclear warhead and many other powerful heavy weapons. He Shang and Li Wei were not very familiar with the weapons and couldn't name them, but judging by their appearance, they knew they were extremely dangerous. After confirming the location of the nuclear warhead, the two quickly returned to the shed and fell asleep. Li Wei lay on the straw bed, his mind heavy with worry. Tomorrow, he would definitely have to kill someone... could he do it? Would he be afraid? He had never even killed a chicken before...
