41 - Third Day

  Day Three.

The wind howled outside, growing stronger. Tiny grains of sand pinged against the RV, creating a constant, rustling sound.

Inside, however, the atmosphere was perfectly comfortable. Especially snuggled in the warm blankets, lying on the soft fleece, lost in a peaceful sleep.

Ellie was the first to wake up.

  Ellie's Favor Points +5

Jason heard the system notification through the haze of sleep, but he didn't pay much attention.

Nobody wanted to get up early, especially with the temperature having dropped overnight. Lying in bed was pure bliss.

Especially for Jason, who was surrounded by beautiful sisters.

A jolt of awareness shot through Jason, and he instantly realized the situation.

But with the chance to get More Favor Points, Jason was happy to enjoy it.

Jason didn't make a sound, savoring the rare moment of peace.

Ellie's movements gradually woke the others.

But no one blamed her. They all lay in bed, luxuriating in the cozy environment.

Especially after the temperature drop overnight, no one wanted to leave the warm embrace of the covers.

Thanks to Jason, they had all developed a habit of sleeping in, a reluctance to face the early morning.

  Time passed quickly.

The blissful morning hours slipped away.

Kira, nestled in Jason's arms, opened her system and found over a hundred messages from David, all filled with furious, expletive-laden rants. He was clearly still reeling from yesterday's scam.

After all, who wouldn't be upset after going broke buying a pair of ill-fitting, stinky boots?

"Hubby… look at this." Kira showed the system panel to Jason.

  Jason couldn't help but smile.

The angrier David got, the happier he was.

In his past life, he had constantly clashed with David to avenge Lily.

And David had treated him like an insignificant ant.

This time, the tables were turning. David would be the one getting played.

Jason told Kira to reply to David:

"Those boots were the last pair we had in your size. You insisted on buying them. Don't blame me..."

David would only doubt his own judgment.

The system notification for the third day finally arrived.

[Ding, congratulations, everyone has survived Day Two.]

[Today, wind speed increases to Force 7 – Near Gale.]

[Calculating vehicle occupants as 5, distributing 500 units of gasoline, 14 Escape Coins.]

Seeing the system notification, Jason woke up the women.

After washing up and eating breakfast, the RV started to roll.

Today, the system provided 500 units of gasoline.

Combined with the 200 units left over from yesterday, Jason now had nearly 700 units.

Enough to keep the RV running for a full day.

Today's main task was to find treasure chests and train the beautiful sisters to fight monsters.

With the monsters still relatively weak and few in number, it was the perfect time to train them.

The beautiful sisters had the potential; they just lacked the courage and experience.

Soon, after driving for about six miles, Jason spotted a wild boar guarding a wooden chest.

  A wild boar?

Jason's eyes lit up with excitement.

He couldn't believe his luck. The first chest of the day and they found a wild boar.

In Jason's eyes, the boar was more valuable than the chest it was guarding.

Most teams would be helpless, unable to kill it.

But Jason's strength was far beyond that of an average team.

With a few enhancements, he could easily take it down.

Judging by its size, the boar weighed over two hundred pounds. The meat alone was worth a fortune.

If they could kill it, he and the beautiful sisters would have a delicious meal.

"Oh my god, it's a wild boar!" Ellie exclaimed from the window.

"Jason, I've seen videos online. Wild boars are really strong, even tougher than bears and tigers. We have to be careful!" Ellie warned.

  The other girls were nervous.

Jason had said they would be fighting monsters today. Was this wild boar to be their first opponent?

Jason smiled, parked the RV, and distributed Attribute Orbs to each of the girls – six orbs each, costing a total of 24 Favor Points.

He had managed to get More Favor Points from the girls overnight, reaching over a hundred points. So he was happy to spend them on Attribute Orbs for them.

  Then, Jason suggested:

"I recommend you focus on Speed. Combined with the Speed bonus from your boots, you'll reach D-Rank Speed."

"Of course, if you have other ideas, you can allocate them elsewhere."

The girls listened and absorbed the Attribute Orbs, then allocated their points.

Chloe, Ellie, and Jenna followed Jason's advice and enhanced their Speed.

Kira, however, enhanced her Strength to E+ Rank.

She was a former fitness instructor and had a passion for strength training, so she put all her points into it.

Jason didn't force any particular development path on the girls.

They could choose which attributes to enhance.

Next, Jason gave each of them a pair of boots and a crossbow.

Jason pointed to the wild boar outside the window:

"You don't have to kill the boar. All you need to do is shoot it with the crossbows, get a feel for combat, and see some blood."

"Whoever hits the boar the most times gets an Attribute Orb as a reward."

To add some fun and motivation, Jason organized a shooting competition.

The four girls' eyes lit up.

Competing with each other to shoot a wild boar sounded interesting.

So Jason opened the RV door and led the four girls outside.

Standing on the road, everyone could feel the increased wind speed. There was resistance to any movement.

  Kira, holding her crossbow, said:

"This wind is pretty strong. It'll affect the accuracy of the bolts."

Jason nodded. "That's where your marksmanship comes in. But within sixty or seventy feet, the wind shouldn't have too much impact."

The girls eagerly took up their crossbows.

Chloe, the most enthusiastic of the group, stepped off the road and fired at the boar next to the chest.

Due to the strong wind, the bolt missed the boar and hit the wooden chest instead.

  Thwack!

The bolt stuck into the wooden chest, startling the boar.

It knew it was under attack.

The boar's beady eyes locked onto Chloe, and it charged at her.

Chloe screamed and turned to run: "Ah! The boar's coming!"

Kira and the other two girls rushed from the side of the road and fired at the boar.

But the charging boar was too fast, and the three bolts missed.

The four girls retreated back to the road, and the boar lost its target.

They all quickly reloaded their crossbows.
