In the year 2256 A.D. Sun Wukong is sent by the Buddha and the Jade Emperor at the Celestial court of the Gods with the mission of spreading the teachings of Buddhism to the far reaches of the cosmos. Sun Wukong obliges, this time around Tripitaka, Pigsy and Sandy will not be going with him like when he traveled from China to India. He will be setting out to do his missionary work on his own. Meeting an alien girl named Pandora and several new comrades he travels the galaxies spreading the truth of the Dharma. A prequel to the Gatekeeper series and a sequel to the 1592 Chinese classic Journey to the West. Coming to you next year in early 2026.
