Anelle loses her home and family to war. She wakes up outside a foreign city with no idea how she got there. Soon after she starts experiencing vivid dreams of a dying dragon and white flames. She slowly gains her footing in her new home until the spring festival where she is ripped away from her new family and thrust into a political fight for the throne.
